Why am I not making sales this season?

This is one of the questions I get from prospective clients.
Most Vendors dont know that they are the one behind their lack of sales.

Though there are several factors that can cause this, but I will address one today.

You see the reason you read my content and apply what I tell you is because of the perception I created in your mind.

First, my appearance and bio made you to get a glimpse of what I do here.

You can see what I look like and can even see me talking.
What I am trying to do is to build trust with you.

What most vendors do especially those that just ventured into the market is that they use inanimate object as their profile picture or even a cartoon character.

Now ask yourself, if you were to get clothing online, will you buy from such a person?

Now I can guess what your answer will be😏.

Perception matters.

Okay, what next?

Look at your page and do a proper revamping.
Delete what is not necessary and please use your picture and state clearly what you sell.

Correct this before you can go on to correct other major matters.

KNOW THIS AND GET MASSIVE SALES THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON.

It's sales season.
If you are not setting up your business for sale, it means you are missing.

The Christmas season is the time of the year when people bring out their money to spend.
You should be on the lookout for strategies to claim a large chunk of the market.

One major and effective way to get customers is by running ads.

Using the right content type for your ads placement is as important as the ad itself.

Here is a list of content to use for your Ads

1. Video talking about your product. This should be done with utmost editing with no background noise.

2. Reviews and Testimonials of customers. This one works like magic.

3. A video showing your physical location.

4. Videos with high-converting headlines. (I talked about this in my book)

5. A Picture or Photo slide

6. Merging a video of your products in action and talking about your product.

DON'T HIDE YOUR PROBLEM

There's a popular saying that goes

A problem shared is half-solved
If you hide your problem, your problem will hide you.

I learned the latter from those people who sell herbal drugs on a busy street. That mantra never leaves their mouth.

I have every reason to believe them...

Here is why...

I remember there was a time when I and my friend wanted to board a bus.
In our usual manner, we were gisting while we waited for the bus to arrive.

There was this woman who stood beside us.
We wanted to board the same bus.
We all attended the same church but we barely talked to each other.

On that fateful day, we were gisting and having a meaningful discussion.

The woman joined in the conversation.

At the time my friend needed a job and some money.
He almost didn't have any money in his account at that time.

The woman dressed simply and casually.

One thing led to another and we started talking about the Nigerian economy and how the government has failed to listen to the voices of its people.
My friend happily shared a lot about that discussion.
He talked about how he has been looking for a job and hasn't found any.
The woman casually asked him what role he wanted to apply for.
He responded happily.
As a sharpshooter, he continued the discussion, this time he led the discussion.

The bus arrived and we all entered and the conversation ended there.

When we all alighted from the bus, the woman called him aside and they talked a little and she left.

I wasn't curious about anything as I always don't interfere with people's privacy.

Later that day, my friend called me and told me the woman sent him #10000.

He was overjoyed. I was also happy for him.

He later told me that the woman was a staff and in one of the big companies in our area.

I was like "Wow".

See opportunity.
She doesn't look like it.

I immediately gave him the name "Sharp Shooter".

Now how is this your business?

A lot of business owners have one or more problems they face everyday.
But they think they can handle the pressure at the detriment of their business.

You are selling fashion wares on WhatsApp and you are not making sales like you should or you are only selling to your friends and family alone.

You need help.
Don't bare the burden alone.

BE A MAGNET

Do you know by being a magnet, you attract people to you?

By being a valuable person you become a magnet that attracts people.

At the Dominate in Business conference held in Lagos recently I noticed that during the break time while some people were connecting with people of similar interests, others were eating and a good number of people were taking pictures.

I noticed that everyone kept going to a particular spot to take pictures. I decided to check it out and discovered that that spot was beautiful hence the attraction it had.

I also had a picture on that spot.

But this is what I learned

Anything of value attracts people

To ensure a good business brand build your business like a magnet and watch how people will rush to patronize you because of the solution your business can offer them.

Drive traffic...

Traffic is the soul of your business...
You need more people to see the sandals you sell, the more people that see your products the likelihood of sales.

Avoid unnecessary posting

Stop posting more of your shoes and start doing more marketing and sales.
