Here’s a great spice blend for roasted oven chicken:

Ingredients:

1. Paprika (2 tsp) – for color and a mild smoky flavor.

2. Garlic powder (1 tsp) – enhances savory depth.

3. Onion powder (1 tsp) – adds a subtle sweetness.

4. Dried thyme (1 tsp) – earthy and aromatic.

5. Dried rosemary (1 tsp) – for a hint of piney, herbaceous flavor.

6. Ground cumin (½ tsp) – for warmth and a slight nutty flavor.

7. Cayenne pepper (optional, ¼ tsp) – for heat.

8. Salt (1½ tsp) – to enhance overall flavor.

9. Black pepper (1 tsp) – for a little kick.

Instructions:

1. Mix all the spices in a small bowl.

2. Rub the chicken (whole or pieces) with olive oil to help the spices adhere.

3. Generously coat the chicken with the spice mix, ensuring even coverage.

4. Roast at 375°F (190°C) for about 45 minutes to 1 hour (adjust depending on chicken size) or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
