DAY 4 - TUES 23RD MAY 2023

*SHALL WE REMAIN IN SIN THAT GRACE MAY ABIDE*
_Romans 6:1-14, Romans 6:23, Isaiah 59:1-3_

Beloved, try as much as possible to avoid sinful acts and whatever that will make you to sins. Sin is evil. It separates us from God. When we sin we subject ourselves to its power, hence become its slaves. Conversely, when we live righteous lives we become slaves of God.

In *Romans 5:20* , the scripture says that the law was introduced to increase wrongdoings, adding that where sin is increased that the grace of God is increased much more. Then in *Romans 6:1-2* , Paul asked shall we continue in sin that Grace might be increased and answered immediately, certainly not. The truth is that in our baptism we were baptized in union with Christ and in union with his death. Therefore we died with him, buried with him and raised with Him by the power of God, so that we might live with Him. Note that sin is of the devil and leads to death in hell fire. No wonder the scripture says in *Romans 6:23* that the wages of sin is death but God's free gift is eternal life in Heaven. Therefore, brethren flee from sin because it leads to eternal condemnation and damnation, while righteousness will make you spend your eternity with God in heaven. It also makes your prayer very effective before God *James 5:16-18,* while in *Isaiah 59:1-2* , says that sin makes your prayers ineffective and create demarcation between you and God. Before the end of this program, God will grant you the Grace to amend your life and live right with Him in the name of Jesus.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Oh Lord, by your mercy forgive my sins and those of my family in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord by your power, grant me the Grace of true repentance from my sins and to live a holy life in the name of Jesus.
3. Lord by your power, grant me the Grace to separate myself from persons and circumstances that are making me to sin against you in the name of Jesus.
4. Pray for our Spiritual Director *Evang Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi* and Zion Prayer Movement Outreach.

DAY 1 - SAT. 20TH MAY 2023.

THE WONDERS OF PRAISES
Act 16:25-34; Joshua 6:1-27; 1Samuel 7:5-11

Praises are definite and unfailing means of obtaining favour from God. It is indeed a veritable means of honoring, worshipping, thanking God for who He is, favours received and acknowledging His omnipotence.

Hear this child of God, praises bring down the glory of God and makes Him move in an unpredictable manner, thereby making impossibilities possible. In Arts 16:25-34, Paul and Silas prayed, sang and the glory of God came down mightily leading to their release from prison.
Also, in Joshua 6:1-27, the people of Israel sang and matched around the walls of Jericho seven times on their way to the Promised Land and it crumbled and scattered. Similarly, in Samuel 7:5-11 the five kings of philistines gathered to attack Israel where they converged at Mizpah to pray. They offered offering to God and Samuel offered a young lamb to God as a sacrifice. The scripture recorded that God thundered with a great thunder and threw their enemies into confusion and panic. The philistines fled and were defeated by the sudden intervention of God. Before the end of this program, God will suddenly and unexpectedly intervene in your situation and in your favour in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Praise God for His infinite goodness in your life and family.
2. Praise God for what He represents in your life.
3. Oh Lord by your mercy grant me the Grace of participate actively in this program.
