Episode 2: “The Will”

The family discovers Mama has indeed written a will—giving the entire ancestral land and house to Adaora, the one who stayed. Chidi feels betrayed, having financially supported the home for years. Uche, bitter and feeling left out, threatens to challenge the will. Mama insists it’s her decision, made from the heart. Adaora is caught in the middle, torn between gratitude and guilt. That night, Mama faints unexpectedly.

Episode 1: “The Gathering”

The Nwokeke's family reunites in their hometown of Enugu for Mama Nwokeke's 70th birthday. The celebration is vibrant, filled with music, food, and old memories. However, beneath the joy, tension brews between siblings Chidi (the firstborn lawyer in Lagos), Adaora (a nurse who gave up her career to care for their mother), and Uche (the rebellious youngest who returns from abroad unannounced). An argument breaks out after dinner, revealing that Mama plans to will the family land to only one child. The Orange tree becomes a symbol of what could be lost.
