Today is the last day of 2025.
As we journey into 2026, here are some skills and investments you must consciously make because nobody will do them for you.
1. Invest in your health by all means possible.
Eat clean. What you eat contributes greatly to how healthy and how long you’ll live. If olive oil is ₦10,000 and vegetable oil is ₦3,000, that extra ₦7k might save you hospital bills, stress, and years of your life.
Many people inject unhealthy things into their bodies and forget that sickness is far more expensive than prevention. Some will say “lack of money,” but truth is, even people with money can be stingy to themselves.
Always remember: you deserve good things, and you deserve to live long.
2. Stop postponing happiness.
Don’t feel guilty for giving yourself what you deserve, especially if you worked for it.
Don’t move your happy moments into the future. Find joy in what you can afford and manage now while still working towards the life you want. Happiness is not a destination; it’s a practice.
3. Invest in yourself (career & growth).
Be comfortable doing boring things that contribute to your growth.
Consistency beats motivation. Growth often looks unattractive before it becomes admirable. Build skills quietly. Upgrade your mind. Your future self will thank you.
4. Protect your peace like currency.
Having peace in a chaotic world is a form of wealth.
Whatever gives you peace, guide it, protect it, invest in it.
You are the most important unit in your life. Without peace, nothing else works.
5. Invest in your spiritual life.
Build a relationship with God. Seek clarity. Speak to Him daily—tell Him what you want life to do to you and for you.
Life is spiritual. Don’t trivialise spiritual fortification.
Just like you won’t go a day without bathing or eating, don’t neglect your spiritual being. Feed it. Clean it. Strengthen it.
6. Learn to say NO without guilt.
Every yes you give others at the expense of yourself is a silent betrayal. Protect your energy. You don’t owe everyone access.
7. Choose progress over pressure.
Stop comparing timelines. Focus on alignment, not applause. What is meant for you will meet you prepared.
As we enter 2026, choose yourself—intentionally, unapologetically, and consistently.
Aura for aura.
Let me know which point makes sense to you.
