Drama in Delta as Aircraft Lands on Road After Failed Airport Approach in Asaba

A private aircraft caused confusion on Wednesday, June 10, after it reportedly landed on a roadway in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, following a failed attempt to land at the Asaba International Airport.

The jet, identified as a Bombardier Challenger 601, was said to have aborted its initial approach around 7:43 a.m. before unexpectedly touching down on a road still under construction near Asaba.

According to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the aircraft later departed the scene and returned to Lagos without proper regulatory clearance.

The regulator stated that the aircraft was immediately grounded upon arrival in Lagos, while the crew were placed under investigation.

It also confirmed the suspension of the operator’s Permit for Non-Commercial Flight, pending further inquiries into the incident.

“What Will People Say About My Life?” - Damilola Adegbite Shares Emotional Reflection After Alexx Ekubo’s Service of Songs

Actress Damilola Adegbite has opened up about the lessons she took away after attending the Service of Songs held in honour of late actor Alexx Ekubo.

In a video shared online, she reflected on how life's uncertainties often remind people to look beyond wealth, success and material possessions and focus on the impact they make on others.

According to her, while there is nothing wrong with enjoying God's blessings, people should also be intentional about the legacy they leave behind through kindness, generosity and meaningful relationships.

"What will people say about my life? How many lives have I added to?" she asked.

Damilola encouraged people to regularly reflect on their purpose and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those around them. :::

“APC Must Go, Terrorists Must Go” VeryDarkMan Speaks During Abuja Protest Over Insecurity

VeryDarkMan has once again voiced strong criticism of the government during an ongoing protest in Abuja over rising insecurity in the country.

Addressing supporters, he called for urgent action against kidnappers and terrorist groups, while also questioning the government’s response to the situation.

"APC must go. Terrørists must go. If Nigerians can vote out President Tinubu, they can vote out any sitting president in the future."

He also referenced comments attributed to Sheikh Gumi, suggesting that authorities are aware of those behind the insecurity but have failed to act decisively.

"Sheikh Gumi once said that the government knows the kidn@ppers and terrørists. If that is true, why are they not going after them?"

VDM further urged Nigerians not to forget the abducted Oyo schoolchildren and their teachers, stressing that their situation remains a key concern amid the protest.

The demonstration continues to draw attention as calls for stronger security measures grow louder across the country.

“He Expected an Arrest, But Nobody Came for Him” - Ossai Ovie Success Reacts to VeryDarkMan’s Return

Political aide Ossai Ovie Success has criticized VeryDarkMan following speculation that he could be arrested upon returning to Nigeria.

According to Ossai, VDM allegedly mobilized supporters to the airport expecting a confrontation with authorities.

"Verydarkman mobilized people to come to the airport to protect him from arrest, but he was in for a shock: nobody planned to arrest him."

He further claimed that if security agencies truly intended to arrest the activist, the presence of supporters would not have prevented it.

"But let it be known: if the authorities wanted to arrest VeryDarkMan, they would arrest him. None of the people he mobilized would have stopped it. I am disappointed...."

Woman Who Accused Neighbour of Trying to Drag Her Daughter Into His Apartment Says Viral Video Was Staged

A South Africa-based Nigerian woman, known online as Asa Obisouth, has reversed her earlier claims against a neighbour after a video accusing him of attempting to drag her 11-year-old daughter into his apartment went viral.

The video had sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for action against the man after the woman confronted him over the allegation.

However, in a new update, she stated that the incident was not real and was merely created as social media content.

"Please do not harm him or see him as a bad person. He is actually a good person. Find a place in your heart to forgive us. It’s just a content. We didn’t mean to escalate it," she said.

The neighbour also addressed the controversy, insisting that the video was staged and intended for educational purposes.

The revelation has since generated mixed reactions online, with many questioning the decision to create such sensitive content around child safety allegations.
