My aunt begged me to be a surrogate mother to her unborn child because she was unable to conceive. I was against the idea, but her husband pleaded with me to consider helping them, which I did. All the procedures were successful, and after nine months, I delivered a baby girl. After my delivery, my aunt's character changed for the worse, and she asked me to leave her house and stay far away from her child. I told her husband and he supported his wife, saying that if I refused to stay away from their child, they would get me arrested. I did this to help my aunt willingly, without collecting a dime from them. I don't know why they are scared of me, thinking I'm going to take their daughter away.

I lost my job 3 months ago and despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to find another one. We live in the UK, and my wife is a nurse who works long hours and barely has time for house chores or caring for our baby. Recently, she suggested hiring a nanny to help out. I told her that since I'm currently at home, she could pay me the £1,000 a month she would have paid a nanny, and I would take care of our own child instead. To me, it seemed like a practical solution that would also help me financially while I'm unemployed. But she got upset and said I should be doing it for free because it's my child too.

Now I'm wondering if I was wrong for asking to be paid, or if my suggestion was reasonable given our situation.❤❤❤❤

I beat my wife because she used my money to cook without asking me. She got upset and ran back to her parents' house. After a few days, I decided to go there and bring her home. When I arrived, everyone welcomed me like nothing had happened. Her mum even cooked a big meal for me and we all ate and drank together. Then they told my wife to go inside and pack her bags. As soon as she went in, they locked the door and left me alone with her father and her four brothers. That was when everything changed. They beat me badly-so badly I almost passed out. At that moment, I swore to myself that I would never lay my hands on her again. But what shocked me the most was when her mum came in afterwards and rubbed pepper in my eyes. Now they're saying I must bring a very big goat and plenty of drinks before I can take my wife back. If I don't, she stays there. Is this not wickedness? Where am I supposed to find money for a goat and drinks? At this point I'm even thinking of running away, but I'm scared they might come after me again. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I've been married for 8 years now.

When I joined my husband abroad, life wasn't easy. A year later, we welcomed our baby. Sadly, both my mum and his mum had passed away, so we had no family support.

Through it all, my husband stood by me. He cooked, helped care for our baby before heading to work, and carried the responsibilities with love.

Years later, he asked me, "What do you want to do?" I told him, "I want to become a nurse." His reply was simple: "Consider it done."

Today, I'm proud to say I graduated as a nurse and I'm currently working in the profession I dreamed of.

My husband has shown me nothing but love and support. He never asks me for financial support, but I gladly contribute because he has always been good to me and my family.

This is appreciation for a man who believed in me, supported my dreams, and never stopped showing up.
