STORY TIME!!!💃
Guys, gather round — I need to tell you what happened one very random afternoon that made me do the unbelievable.
No jokes — even me, myself, I shock! 😂
One cool afternoon oh, my team and I were at the studio, editing content and vibing as usual. Calm vibes. Smooth workflow. Nothing too serious.
Then boom — my phone rang.
Unknown number.
I almost ignored it, but something just said, “Pick this call.”
So I picked.
Immediately, I heard panic on the other end:
“Hello? Hello?! Is this Digitxtra Media?! Please?”
It was a lady. Her voice was shaky — she sounded like she was either running, crying, or both. I was confused and concerned.
I replied, “Yes, this is Digitxtra Media. Please calm down, madam. What’s happening?”
Then she said the one thing I wasn’t expecting:
> “My wedding is today — and it’s about to be ruined. The media team we booked hasn’t shown up. Their numbers aren’t going through. Please, my best day is about to become my worst. I’m begging you… can you help me? Can you get here in 30 minutes?”
Omo! I stood up from my seat immediately like a soldier hearing battle drums.
I asked, “Ma, are you serious? The wedding is happening now? Like now now?”
She said yes. The guests were seated, she was fully dressed, and her groom was already getting tense. The supposed media guys they had called in the morning claimed they were “on the way.”
But since then — 3 hours o! — nothing.
Phone lines? Switched off.
No sign of them anywhere.
Then she said something that made me smile:
> “It was my cousin that gave me your number. She told me, ‘If you want a fast and reliable team that won’t fail you, call Digitxtra Media.’ Please don’t let me down.”
At that moment, I didn’t even blink.
I told her, “Relax, madam. We’ll be there in less than 20 minutes.”
She screamed, “Are you serious?! Thank you! Thank you! God bless you!!”
I turned to my team — “Guys, work don show o! We move now!”
We packed our gear — lights, lenses, cameras, batteries, drones — everything.
Entered our van and sped off like mission rescue squad.
Guess what?
We got there in 15 minutes flat.
As we walked into the venue, heads turned. You could feel the shift in energy.
The bride — the same woman who called us in full panic saw us… and instantly smiled.
Like magic.
She didn’t even speak at first. She just held her chest and exhaled — like someone who had just escaped disaster.
The groom saw us and immediately relaxed — you could tell this man was ready to scatter somebody’s head a few minutes earlier.
We set up immediately and started working.
Shutter clicks. Lenses rolling. Emotions flying.
We captured every moment — from the joy to the vows, to the “I do”, and the dance.
We saved what was almost lost.
Finally, After the event, the bride and groom walked over to us, glowing and grateful.
Then the bride said something I’ll never forget:
> “Of a truth, my cousin wasn’t lying. You guys are fast. Reliable. And most importantly, you didn’t even ask me for payment before stepping in. You just showed up and did your job. You put our happiness before your pocket. God bless you.
She greeted every member of our team.
Then she promised that from now on, Digitxtra Media is her go-to team — for birthdays, documentaries, family albums, anything.
She even said she’d refer us to her workplace.
We felt so fulfilled that day.
But wait… story never finish.
Guess who suddenly walked in — five hours late?
The “media team” they originally booked. 😂
You need to see the way they entered — like people that went to buy snacks down the road.
But when they saw that the event was done and fully covered, their faces changed.
They started throwing excuses:
“Ah, it was traffic,”
“My phone died,”
“Driver delay,”
“Camera malfunction—”
All manner of silly excuses.
Before they could finish talking, the groom pulled them aside and said:
> “Abeg, make una just leave before my wife sees you and her mood changes again. You guys wanted to ruin our big day, but God pass una. All thanks to these wonderful guys — Digitxtra Media — they really saved our day. So You guys, just get out abeg.”
Omo. They just wakaed quietly.🤣🤣
