Invited by UNICEF, with NURTW and the Lagos State Government, we captured mothers learning, fathers supporting, and men stepping up to spread the word.

Because when a community rallies behind its mothers, children thrive.
And that’s a story worth telling. 📸

We are thrilled to share our latest project with you: a captivating short documentary on E-learning using the "Nigeria Learning Passport" for UNICEF. It has been an incredible journey for the UppaRuum team, filled with nostalgia as we revisited secondary schools, witnessing the assembly grounds, classrooms, and students in their uniforms. The enthusiasm of the students was truly inspiring, and their impeccable conduct made communication effortless. We had the privilege of speaking with three remarkable students: Bolade, Patience, and Dara, who opened up about their academic challenges and how the Nigeria Learning Passport has transformed their educational journey. It's heartwarming to witness how this initiative has enabled them to excel in subjects they once struggled with.

Collaborating with UNICEF on a cause like this has been a dream come true for UppaRuum. As a visual communication company, we believe in the power of storytelling to drive positive change. This project aligns perfectly with our vision to amplify impactful stories that resonate with audiences worldwide. We are happy to contribute to the noble mission of enhancing educational opportunities and empowering young minds in Nigeria.

I am happy and grateful to see that people find value in this product video tutorial we shared on our YouTube channel 3 months ago. We identified a need, we realised that aren't many people doing product videos in Nigeria, not only that, we couldn't find much product video tutorials from Nigerians on YouTube. Since this is an area we are interested in, we decided to meet this need by sharing our creative process. It's been a lot work, learning, discovery and fun.

Learning never stops and sharing about your creative process is one of the best ways to learn. Before now I use to find it very difficult to document my creative process. I was only worried about getting the job done, so I didn’t care much about capturing behind scenes, talking about the methods I used to solve the problems, or the challenges I faced while creating. Today I know better, the feedback I received from previous videos where I talked about my creative processes have opened my eyes to see value. We can preserve and transfer knowledge when we document our creative process. It is also an avenue for people to connect with our work at a deeper level. I have benefited immensely from watching tutorials made by other creative minds, it helped fast track my growth process so I ought at least return the gesture and keep the cycle going. The irony is that sharing helps us open up to receive from others, conversations begin, questions are asked and answers are supplied. Nobody sabi am finish, so live, learn and create, now do it all over again.
