Last nite on Jazz and Conversations, we had a wonderful time remembering Feya Faku, the man and his music with and as guest on the show with my co-anchor . With his music from his House on the Hill performance in March 2022, with Shane Cooper on Bass and Bokani Dyer on Piano, Mlungisi and Nothemba relayed their stories and history with this great quiet, majestic giant of African Jazz. May his beautiful soul (he was laid to rest on 5th July) rest in Perfect Peace. His legacy will live on in all whose lives he touched and influenced... The playlist is below

MASSIVE CONGRATS to Ezra Collective Band led by ace drummer Femi Koleoso and his brother TJ Koleoso who have just won Group of the year at the 2025 BRIT Awards. The became the first Jazz Band to win. They were also Winners of the coveted Mercury Prize in 2023.

They have excelled over the last couple of years and will be featuring at Glastonbury in 2025. The best is yet to come!
