This weekend (16th August) on our special guests will be two of the major jazz protagonists in South Africa and the global jazz community beyond our African shores. Firstly the creator of the Mzantsi Jazz awards , probably the most significant jazz awards organization on the African continent (with it's 9th edition coming up later this month) and , the CEO of T Musicman, and producer of the premier jazz festival in South Africa (and I believe the continent at large), The Standard Bank Joy Of Jazz Festival (). The 26th edition comes up in September 2025. Together with my co-anchors and Segun Ogunsheye, we will discourse with these two fixtures on the African Jazz scene, and celebrate their endeavour and commitment to Jazz in Africa.
