Every opportunity for me as a photographer is another layer, a layer of awakening.

My mind opens to new possibilities with each click of the shutter. I do not just take photographs; I create with deeper meaning, seeking to answer questions people have or do not even know they have.

The answer is often found in the everyday: the small details, the simple gestures, the fleeting moments.

Through my lens, I invite you to pause, reflect, and discover that life’s beauty is often hidden in the ordinary.

As my first exhibitions open simultaneously, I am giddy with excitement and grateful for the opportunity to finally share this journey with you. I truly hope to see you there.

It’s always beautiful when people show us their goodness, it inspires and motivates but for me, I am more of the backstage type. Even the Good Book says, “Shine your light so bright that others may see your good work and glorify your Father in Heaven.”

I think I am ready for the world to see what I see through my lens from one end to another.

For over 7 years, photography has been a great blessing to me. I’ve always loved art in textures, shapes and all forms plus I knew I wanted a life of impact. Photography gave me that two-in-one and my journey began with children’s photography: first the African child, now the Global child. Watching my growth has been humbling and inspiring.

I got an opportunity to exhibit, I took it in . Shortly after, saw another opportunity in .wakefield and I grabbed it.

While I once imagined my first exhibition would be “serious and mysterious”, I have realized that I am drawn to the simple things of life, the beauty that is relatable, elegant and quietly sophisticated. As once said, our personality reflects in our work and I see that in mine. Hence, the title, Everyday Grace for my first exhibition, scratch that, EXHIBITIONS. I am so excited.

I have got several works that represent the Everyday Grace. Selected images that will be viewed are unique to each exhibitions. Same title, different experience.

So, I warmly invite you to my upcoming exhibitions, where I hope my work will serve as a reminder, a lesson and an awakening to the truth that the simple things in life truly matter.

Esther Adeola Seriki is exhibiting at The London Photo Show on 16-19 October 2025

Esther Adeola Seriki is a fine art and documentary photographer with a deep interest in storytelling through visual and artistic mediums. Her work focuses on documenting people, culture and the streets. An active contributor to Wikimedia Commons, Esther was the overall winner of Wiki Loves Earth Nigeria in 2023 and placed 8th in the international competition the same year.
Passionate about community impact and open knowledge, she uses photography as a tool to preserve heritage while elevating narratives and cultures on a global stage.

About the Project: Everyday Grace

I have always loved simplicity, simple yet sophisticated. I am a strong believer in “less is more,” because in the little and frail things lie the true wonders of the world. That is why I do not take for granted the grace that each day brings.
From the streets of Nigeria to the corners of England, one thing has remained constant for me: capturing the everyday.

The simplicity and beauty, the creativity and sophistication of daily life moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Photography, for me, is not just about making images. It is about creating impact, making work that resonates with people, their values and their culture.

Still in the spirit of sharing my progress report, earlier this month, on the 2nd of August, I volunteered to lead a photowalk as a member of to celebrate 8th anniversary.

When I arrived, I met some participants and in that moment I realized something profound: I was not meant to lead that day, I was meant to follow.

I was the youngest in the group by far, but somehow that didn’t matter. Angela and Teresa, incredibly kind and generous women made the space feel warm, open and welcoming.

We walked through Roundhay Park, taking pictures of the birds by the lake, shadows beneath the trees, and the quiet details you only catch when you’re with people who truly see. Conversations flowed gently between history and photography, mentorship and memory. They taught, they shared, they encouraged. It felt special.

My mom is visiting, so she tagged along and it meant so much to have her there.

I left feeling inspired, held and full of gratitude. A reminder that leadership also means knowing when to step back, to listen and to learn from the wealth of others’ experiences.

A few photos below from our time together in Leeds. Until next time!

Each step I take with my camera reminds me that I am evolving, growing into spaces I once only dreamed of.

Being on the red carpet for The Thursday Murder Club wasn’t just about photographing stars; it was about witnessing people who gave themselves fully to the art of acting and filmmaking, people who set the road clear for us to sojourn gracefully.

In that moment, I knew I belonged there, capturing beauty, presence and storytelling in every frame.

Thank you for the opportunity. Each capture is not just a photograph, but a reminder that the journey continues and I am right where I need to be.

This is a testament of what is possible.

Just like that, we are back to base!

Through Their Eyes.
We should see the world in ways that is full of wonder, adventure and tiny moments that feel like magic. My job as a child photographer isn’t just to take pictures, it is to bottle up those moments before they slip away.

Eery click is a keepsake for the years ahead.

Capturing childhood, one honest moment at a time.
Because they won’t stay little forever.

As photographers, I believe we are the Creator’s creators, interpreters of the divine through the lens. Capturing moments of creation is a one-time opportunity; each moment is fleeting, never to return the same way again.

The world itself is a masterpiece, a living work of fine art. Through fine art photography, I strive to reflect that beauty, essence and soul in my images, to make the ordinary feel eternal.

I’m just returning from a short break, where we took time to celebrate Children’s Day, always such a special moment.

As I mentioned before, I’ve been exploring new creative paths, and fine art photography has been one of the most beautiful journeys yet. 🎨📸

Here’s a glimpse of some recent work, I absolutely love how it’s all coming together and I hope you do too!
