1 year since I first met you,
Forever since I’ve loved you.
Everyday I’m thankful for the gift of you,
You make this journey so easy.
You may not know it now, but you’ll always mean the world to me.
You’ve given me so much clarity.
Clarity I never even realised I needed.
I find myself wondering what I was doing before you came along. I felt I knew it all. I felt like I had it all together. But you’ve taught me that I really didn’t.
You make me much more confident to stand up for myself and be loud about what I truly want.
Because I now know I can’t afford to keep repeating old patterns.
I find the courage to do things I never really thought about before now, because I look at you and realise that I can’t mess up this gift that God has given me.
Everyday I’m thankful to our Heavenly Father for giving me you, and I’m also thankful for a choice spirit such as you, for choosing me to go on this journey.
I’m so excited for what your future holds.
Eyes hath not seen, ears hath not heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for you.
Would I do it all over again? YES I WOULD!
But this time I would do it much better from the beginning.
