Story Title "The Queen’s Final Summons" (Final Part)

Years passed, and Vivian’s power deepened. She had long stopped questioning the queen’s commands. Her heart no longer trembled when she took life, nor did she hesitate to curse anyone who displeased her. In the village, people only spoke her name in whispers.

But one night, as the full moon rose over the water, the talisman at her chest began to throb like a second heartbeat. Her vision blurred, and her ears filled with the roar of an unseen ocean. Then, the queen’s voice thundered in her mind:

"Daughter of the Current, your time among the dust is done. Come home."

Vivian tried to resist. She clutched the doorway of her hut, but her legs moved without her will. The ground trembled under each step as she walked toward the stream. The water, calm at first, began to swirl violently, opening into a dark whirlpool.

She stepped into it.

This time, the descent was not gentle — the current pulled her down like chains dragging a prisoner. The deeper she went, the colder it became. Shapes swam past her — monstrous, ancient beings with eyes like molten gold.

At last, she stood in the grand hall of the marine kingdom, surrounded by towering pillars of black coral. The queen awaited her on the throne, flanked by warriors with tridents carved from whale bone.

"You have done well," the queen said, her voice rich with pride. "Now, you will no longer walk the land. Your blood will be salt, your breath the tide."

Vivian felt her body change — her skin shimmered with silver scales, her fingers lengthened, and her legs fused into a long, powerful tail. She gasped, but no air filled her lungs — only water, sweet and alive.

The queen placed a crown of red coral on her head.
"Rise, Princess of the Deep. The land has lost you forever."

Above the waves, the villagers searched for her, finding only the talisman lying on the shore. But in the ocean’s depths, Vivian’s laughter echoed — a sound both beautiful and terrible — as she swam beside her new mother, ruling the currents of the deep.

Story Title "The Servant of the Deep" (PART 3)

From the night of her initiation, Vivian’s life no longer belonged to her. The talisman she wore never came off — no blade, fire, or hand could break its chain. And with each new moon, the whisper of the marine queen grew louder in her mind.

It began subtly. When the village women fetched water from the stream, the water would suddenly rise and spill, soaking them as though angry. Vivian would watch from afar, her lips curled in an almost imperceptible smile.

Then came the dreams — not the nightmares of drowning she once feared, but instructions. The queen taught her secret words, and when she spoke them over a cup of water, anyone who drank from it would fall into a deep, fevered sleep.

One night, during the Harmattan season, the queen’s voice demanded:
"Bring me what the land holds most dear."

Vivian awoke, possessed by a strange force. She walked barefoot to the village chief’s compound. No guard saw her; no dog barked. Inside, she found the chief’s newborn son lying in a crib. She picked him up, but instead of leaving, she walked straight to the stream. The water parted for her like a gate, and she stepped inside.

The next morning, the entire village searched for the child, but only Vivian knew the truth — the baby now belonged to the deep. In return, she felt her body strengthen, her skin smooth like polished stone, and her voice gain a hypnotic power.

Soon, she could call rain from a cloudless sky, cause fishermen’s nets to tear with a flick of her fingers, and make any man fall under her spell simply by looking into his eyes. Women feared her, men desired her, and children ran when she passed.

But the more she served, the less human she became. On some nights, her reflection in the water showed her with silver scales on her arms, her eyes glowing faintly in the dark. And deep in her heart, she knew the day would come when the queen would call her fully home — to stay beneath the waves forever.

Story Title "The Calling Beneath" (PART 2)

Vivian’s life had been shadowed by strange dreams — visions of dark waves swallowing the moon, and a voice whispering from beneath the depths, calling her by name.

Her grandmother always warned her, “Never answer when the water calls at night.” But one evening, while fetching water from the stream, she heard it again — soft, melodic, and impossible to ignore. The surface of the water shimmered unnaturally, reflecting not her own face, but a pale woman with eyes like deep oceans.

Vivian’s hands trembled as she reached out. The water pulled her in without a splash.

She sank through an endless abyss, surrounded by cold, shadowy figures. Their forms shifted between human and serpent, their faces half-hidden behind jeweled masks. The deeper she went, the stronger the pressure on her chest — yet she could breathe.

A throne of black coral emerged from the gloom, upon which sat the Marine Queen. Her crown was twisted with seaweed and bones, her smile sharp and cold. Around her neck hung chains made from shells, each one whispering faint cries.

"Your bloodline is ours," the queen’s voice echoed like thunder under water. "You were chosen before birth. Tonight, you are sealed."

Two merfolk approached, each holding a basin of red liquid that shimmered like molten rubies. Vivian’s wrists were cut, her blood dripping into the water. The queen pressed a cold, spiral-shaped talisman against her chest, and it burned like fire in her soul.

Vivian felt her heartbeat sync with the tide. Her fear was gone, replaced by an unnatural calm — and a terrible hunger she couldn’t name.

When she awoke by the stream, the night was silent, but the talisman still hung around her neck. In her ears, the voice whispered: “You will serve when the tide demands.”

From that day on, fish would die when she entered the water. And at night, she dreamed not of walking the land — but of ruling the deep.

Story Title "The Initiation of Vivian" (PART 1)

Vivian had always felt a strange pull toward water. As a child, she would wander off to the stream near her grandmother’s house, sitting for hours, mesmerized by the ripples and the soft hum of flowing water. Her grandmother often warned her, “Child, the water has eyes. It watches those it desires.”

One rainy evening, while returning from the market, Vivian took a shortcut through the marshland. The path was eerily quiet, and the rain, though light, seemed to fall in a rhythm — like a silent drumbeat calling her name. Suddenly, she slipped and fell into a deep, still pool she had never noticed before.

Instead of sinking into mud, she found herself descending into a clear, glowing tunnel beneath the water. Her fear dissolved as a warm current wrapped around her, drawing her deeper. Soon, she emerged into a vast underwater city, illuminated by golden corals and shimmering towers carved from seashells. Strange but beautiful beings with human faces and fish-like tails moved gracefully, their eyes glowing like pearls.

A tall woman with skin as pale as moonlight approached. Her hair floated around her like strands of silk, and her voice echoed in Vivian’s mind rather than her ears.
"Welcome, Daughter of the Current. You have been chosen."

Vivian tried to speak but found herself unable to form words. The woman held out a small shell shaped like a crescent moon. When Vivian touched it, a surge of visions flooded her — stormy seas, treasures hidden in the ocean floor, and herself wearing a crown of coral.

That night, the marine queen led her to a grand hall where a pool of silver water glowed at the center. Chanting voices surrounded her as the queen dipped her into the pool. A burning sensation spread through her veins, but with it came a strange euphoria. When she rose from the water, her eyes reflected a faint turquoise glow.

"From this day," the queen’s voice resounded, "you are bound to the kingdom of the deep. You will walk the land, but the ocean will be your home. Our power will flow through you, and you will answer when we call."

Vivian awoke the next morning on the marshland path, soaked but unharmed. Yet, she knew something within her had changed. Wherever she walked, puddles seemed to ripple at her approach. And sometimes, in the dead of night, she could hear the ocean calling her name.

Title 💔 My Truth… About Evans

Evans didn’t pay my bride price. But out of love — or what I thought was love — I ignored what others said. I stood by him when people questioned the union. We went ahead with the traditional wedding, followed by a beautiful white wedding. I gave my heart, my time, my commitment — fully.

At the beginning, things felt right. He provided. He supported me. He made promises. He made me feel safe.

But slowly, things began to change.

The money stopped. The kindness faded. The man who once swore to protect me now uses threats to keep me in a marriage that no longer has peace. I’ve heard him say things like, “I’ll deal with you if you try to leave me.” Imagine building a home, only to end up feeling like a prisoner in it.

And now, every day feels like I’m walking on eggshells.

I want to be clear: I didn’t marry for money. But when love turns cold, and support turns into control — it’s no longer marriage. It’s survival.

Evans never paid my bride price, yet I gave everything — my body, my loyalty, my future. And somehow, I’m the one being threatened for choosing peace?

No woman should have to stay in a home out of fear. No woman should feel unsafe with the man she married. Whether bride price was paid or not, I was a wife in every sense of the word.

But now, I choose me.

I’m speaking up because silence is no longer an option. I want to be free — emotionally, mentally, spiritually. If you're going through this, please know: your peace is not too much to ask. You deserve safety. You deserve love that doesn’t hurt.
