Developing Your Internet Presence (Do-It-Yourself Guide)
Being visible online is a different matter than simply having a business.
Even if you have the greatest product in your area, 90% of your potential buyers won't see you if you're not online.
Meet Tunde. He had a printing company for many years, but the majority of his clients came from recommendations.
Before a buddy informed him that "people can't buy what they don't see," he believed that publishing once a month was sufficient.
Everything altered as a result.
He began posting on the internet every day, sharing his work, describing different printing options, and displaying before and after photos.
In a few weeks, he began receiving questions from unexpected sources.
That's what an internet presence is all about.
A DIY MANUAL FOR DEVELOPING YOUR INTERNET PRESENCE
1. Pick your top two platforms; the greatest places to start are Facebook and Instagram.
2. Create a business page from your profile by adding your company name, logo, and service information.
3. Include a compelling bio; in one phrase, describe your work and the people you assist.
4. Consistently publish three kinds of content:
Value content: impart knowledge relevant to your area of expertise
Product information (what you sell or provide)
Trustworthy content (such as behind-the-scenes or customer feedback)
5. Participate every day: gently message prospective customers, respond to comments, and answer inquiries.
6. Participate in three to five industry-related Facebook groups and add something of value (don't just post links).
7. Include a prominent call-to-action (CTA) on your page, such as "Learn More," "Order Now," or "Message Us."
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Your new place of business is your online presence.
Even if their service isn't superior to yours, your competitors will steal your clients if they can't discover you online.
Prioritize your presence over your product by being present and maintaining consistency.
