HOW TO SHOP FOR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS IN THE RECESSION
Here are tips for shopping As a Family or As A Person Living Alone
1.Big Grocceries especially beverages from big stores such as Shoprite,PEP and others. Their beverages shelves are cheaper than your neighbourhood market stores.
2. Buy your proteins from Big brands and store in a freezer if you have one or if you don't own a freezer,buy from a shop that sell per Kilogram near you.
3. Buy,learn how to store seasonal foods such as plantain,yam,tomatoes,pepper and others when they are in season,you can stote in Airtight containers or clear bags. It will help you save a lot on fresh foods when it gets expensive.
4.Joint or start food sharing cliques. You get more quantity when you buy in groups.
5.Look for and buy alternatives to cooking gas especially when you live far from the gas station. If you don't own a gas gadge monitor,it can disappointing when your gas finished at a time when you don't money or means to carry the cylinder to long distance.Owning a Stove,Charcold cooker and storing few litres of Kerosine is not a bad idea.
6.Keep your ear open for news of local markets opening around your area especially farmer's market. It will come in handy🤣
7. Go on PINTEREST learn some simple skills DIY to save cost on decorations and other daily survior skills. Artisans charge high these days,limit your spending by doing simple somethings yourself.
