VISION IN PERSONALITY
The consciousness that you have a bout your personality and who you envisage to become, how you want to be perceived, addressed and related with is a function of your vision in personality.

This is the kind of vision that gives you the awareness of developing and positioning yourself and operational pattern to become both consciously and unconsciously comported, composed, respectable, acceptable impactful and positively influential both in your private and public life.
You are not supposed to live and operate anyhow. There is need for boundaries, principles, policies, disciplinary decisions, goals and objectives with which you pattern and operate your life.

Some people just talk any how that they are not even conscious of where they talk, what they say, people they shouldn’t discuss certain issues with and so on. Some just eat anyhow, dress anyhow, sit anyhow, walk and stand any how. People with vision in personality are conscious of how their behavioral uniqueness and pattern influence and shape their lives and the lives of people who are associated with their daily living.

There are people who are deficient in self comportment and coordination, and when you try to draw their attention to it with some measures of correction, they will take offence. Indirectly, it means they need no correction even if those lapses may end up crippling their career, relationships, business, finance, ministry and other aspects of their lives in future.

I once worked with a boss who on an occasion prepared a letter of invitation to be sent to some dignitaries to attend his event, and I spotted an error in the letter, which I drew his attention to, emphasizing the need for a correction and reprint of the letter to avoid people of such caliber turning down his invitation due to the error.
In his reaction, he said, “You like spotting mistakes for corrections every time. Are you a perfect man? Just forget about it, it doesn’t matter.”
After much of his yelling, I said, ‘I’m sorry, sir!’ And I left him.
Friends, in this journey of life, I’ve learnt a lot of what is called ‘ignorance in oversight’ in a lot of people, and how it has crippled a lot in them due to negligence.
To cut a long story short, some of those dignitaries spotted those errors, and eventually turned down the invitation.

There are people who don’t see anything wrong about their errors, they don’t see themselves ever being wrong, and they also don’t feel they need to be corrected. That’s a lack of vision in personality.
Also, bear in mind that, if you have a vision in personality, you will be detested and labelled as an extremist by ‘anyhow’ people. So, don’t be perturbed.
Many people have lost opportunities, cut their supposed extended privileges short and deprived themselves some access in life as a result of their lack of vision in personality.

In case you never knew, there are people who are not easily moved by what you present, but they are conscious of what your backend is made of, just to ascertain the foundational stand of your personality. So, stop feeling or saying, ‘it doesn’t matter.’ Everything in life matters, please!

It doesn’t matter how well gifted, talented, endowed, well positioned, well placed, eloquent, well connected, advantageous, beautiful or handsome you might be, if you don’t have the consciousness of your self comportment, coordination and perception in your inward and outward personality, chances are you may never get far in life, because your hidden shortcomings may expose and hack you down.

Living an ‘anyhow’ life, or a life of ‘it doesn’t matter,’ is a lack of vision in personality and a stigma that can trigger rejection and disqualification.
Watch it, and safeguard your life time accesses and opportunities.

VISION IN IDENTITY
A couple of years ago, a client once insulted me in a rage and described me as being unfit for a public relations project he paid me to execute for him, which I wrote and published an article in the daily newspapers addressing him in the writ-up as a ‘Mr.’ Instead of a ‘Doctor.’

I never knew if he was a medical doctor or not, anyway, neither did I know he was so intoxicated by his title, otherwise, I would have saved myself from his ‘near-bite’ anger. But he kept emphasizing, ‘I have two PhDs, in case you didn’t know!’

In my reaction, I kept saying, ‘Yes, sir!’ ‘I am sorry, sir!’
Because I knew he was my client and my corporate responsibility was to serve him satisfactorily, his action didn’t have to affect my identity. I was just more than what he called me. So, I reacted appropriately.
As a matter of fact, he could kill for the omission of that title from his name in the newspaper publication.

To discover and fulfill your purpose and become fulfilled in life, the first point of call is for you to discover your identity.

Where identity is not known, misrepresentation is inevitable!
A lot of people misrepresent themselves with the wrong identity due to ignorance and negligence, and they end up with the wrong ideology, interpretation, description, personality, and purpose of their lives.

Today, a great number of people are suffering from low self-esteem, wrong placement and location, and inferiority complex as a result of lack of discovery and inappropriate placement of their identity. The reason for this is a lack of vision of identity.

Your identity reveals your personality and your personality identifies your purpose.
In your purpose resides your assignment on earth. Your assignment on earth abounds your benefits and fulfillment in life.

A lot of people like to have by their names, PhD, MSc, GCFR, HIV, CNN, U.S.A, and all that stuff, but interestingly, the real titles come
from God in 1Peter 2:9.
“But ye are a chosen generation (CG), a royal priesthood (RP), a holy nation (HN), a peculiar people (PP); that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

If you read that scripture closely with an eye of vision, you will spot four significant titles there (CG; RP; HN, and PP) that no force on this earth can comprehend if you indeed recognize the real source of your identity through God’s word.

People like accolades, recognitions, and titles to the extent that some pay to get them rather than being entitled by merit. That's the lobby and cheap purchase of a vague honor.

Some people define their identities by their financial status, connections, earthly achievements, temporary fame, and profitless social influence. Some just like to be addressed publicly by titles to the extent that they can maim for it.

What is your identity, friends? Until you catch a glimpse of the picture of your identity, you are far from fulfilling your life’s purpose.

Whenever you read my write-ups or listen to my messages on vision, I am not trying to tell you that you are blind, hence the need for you to have a sight. No!
The vision I am advocating by definition is that you should have something you want for yourself in any area of your life, and see it the way you want it, even if there is no visible assurance, evidence, or certainty of its reality.

It is the eye of vision that you use to view what you want, which will form your principles and ways of life and attract the manifestation of that realm. It is simple!

If you allow this light of understanding to beam on you, you can navigate your way into fulfillment, rather than just achievements or success without fulfillment of your life’s purpose.

VISION DOESN’T MISS OUT ON TURNING POINTS
If you are carrying and moving with a vision, there is a crucial point in your life when all protocols break for you to enter into the next level or dimension of growth, manifestation, and success of your purpose in life. That’s your turning point!

It takes vision; a conceiving heart and a sensitive spirit to recognize and align with life's turning points.

If you get too carried away by the mundane things and challenges of life, they are going to be difficult for you to discern when a particular era of your life is about to unfold, not to even talk of recognizing it when it eventually comes alive to you.

Sometimes, your turning point could be characterized by some unsuccessful outcomes or unfortunate situations or circumstances of life.
Don’t throw in the towel; just bear in mind that it might just be that desired and expected turning point!
Hold on a bit; with just a little more push, you might just arrive at the game-changing era.

In the journey of every man of vision who aspires to a light at the end of the tunnel, there is always a wilderness season. It could even be more than one season for different purposes in the journey of your life.

Some seasons are to try or test your elasticity of faith. Some are meant to test your strength, patience, perseverance, intelligence quotient, emotional intelligence, and readiness for your next phase of advancement, among others. But it is how well or bad or ignorant you respond or react to those seasons that will determine where it lands you.

Beloved, don’t throw in the towel; help is always on the way at the end of every test. There is no testimony without a test. And even at the end of the test, there will always come a short period of test-running before the testimony finally surfaces. The reason for this is to reassess your readiness and give you a reminder of the difference between where you are about to depart from and where you are crossing over to.

Don’t just allow your wilderness seasons and experiences to pass by as though nothing happened. No matter how insignificant they may appear, they are very significant and instrumental to the transition into your next phase of life.

A lot of people hold grudges or blame some friends, relatives, leaders, family members, and systems for their wilderness experiences, but people with vision see them as instruments being used to shape and actualize their envisioned future.

It takes people with vision to acknowledge, embrace, and manage wilderness seasons and experiences because they see the potential positive future outcomes that it holds in stock, rather than the present pains and displeasures that it presents.
If you indeed want to embrace a desired future, first acknowledge the reality, importance, and role of a wilderness season and experience that must inevitably play out at some points in the journey of your life.

Sometimes your wilderness experience may seem too long than you can bear, but it is not all about what you feel, it has to be all about what must be. If gold at the end is all that you desire, let the process of gold prevail. And if silver is your focus, then let its process take its course.
The fact is that you can’t just arrive overnight without going through the journey to the destination.

There are people whose turning points will come in a process that seems too long or too late, based on their views and interpretations of it. But, let me be candid with you, some processes must hide you longer than you expect because what you are wired for will require a system of keeping you in level one for six years, and by the time your turning point comes, you will suddenly find yourself catapulted to level seven. In this process, you would have learned all you need to learn in the proceeding steps within those six years of your seemingly delayed season.

The higher your structure, the deeper and stronger the foundation that is required, and it is all for your good purpose.

As a man of vision, whatever you go through in the journey of life, one significant assignment you owe yourself is to cheer up!
Be encouraged to be and remain the cheerleader of your efforts, so that in the long run, you will have the testimony to prove even if no one tends to believe in your story.

The time you take to build and prepare yourself in the wilderness is never a waste. So, do it diligently, and as often as you can.

Have a better view of your present disposition, and keep up with your vision for the future.

SNARES OF LEADERSHIP MISCONCEPTION
While I was newly appointed a leader of a local branch of a popular mission in Nigeria a couple of years ago, a young undergraduate female teenage member of the church’s working force requested to have a few minutes of conversation with me on a particular day, and I obliged.

In that conversation, she reeled out to me some errors I was making in my leadership approach, which seemed to describe me as being discriminative.
I realized that she was actually correct, and I acknowledged it in good faith.
In my warm gesture, I appreciated her and resolved to a change, which I did.

In the instance of a tyrant leader, the observations and suggestions of that young lady would have become the starting point of hatred and beefing against her, and that would have established a basis for victimizing the brave, outspoken, and sincere church worker.
For me, I was humbled and felt safe in the hands of someone lesser in age but, higher in observation that could save situations that were at the mercy of my leadership responsibility.

If you are too big to learn, you might end up becoming too small to lead. In the same way, if you cannot respect authority, you will never be able to qualify to handle authority.
It is more like a disaster seeking a location when you allow yourself to be derailed by giving room for mediocre followers around you to massage your ego in your very low estate of knowledge, and you are feeling like a semi-god.

Bear in mind that such followers are limited in knowledge, and they assume your knowledge is the ultimate because they are also not exposed. And if you fail to update and upgrade yourself, you will end up a stagnant leader breeding stagnant followers. So, it becomes a situation of the blind leading the blinds, and everyone ends up in a ditch.

As a leader, those who are hailing you and those condemning you are doing the same job, and the job is either to distract or get you to concentrate. But wisdom demands which of them you should choose to align with. The ball is in your court.

Leadership is beyond a position. It is a commitment to keep rebirthing leadership abilities in others. How many of your ‘followers have become grown to the capacity of ‘leaders’?

If you are indeed a leader in certain areas of life, not necessarily in an organization, even those who hate you will recognize it and copy your style of operation to improve their productivity systems.
Some too many jokers occupy leadership positions, but their leadership responsibilities will eventually not stand the test of time. The reason is that they are puffed up and carried away by their leadership position but insensitive to, and conscious of the elements of quality leadership.

Leadership is a call to serve and not a call to rule. Those who have the rulership mindset of leadership detest correction, and as such, they end up victims of the rulership notions about leadership.
Such people, when they come across followers who recognize and are conversant with the required attributes of a leader who is worth being followed, they feel intimidated, threatened, and uncomfortable by the presence and engagement of such followers in their field of engagement.

Assess the caliber of followers you have by their reasoning faculty and exposure to know if you are truly on track or not. I am not talking about the ones with an odd exposure, because there are too many people in leadership positions at different levels, but with odd exposure. Such people are getting on with it and having their ways in certain areas of their lives, and they assume they are on top, but it's only a matter of time.

The improved or stagnant reasoning position of your followers is proof of your positive or negative influence or impact upon their lives, which is also a reflection of the stuff you as the leader are made of.

Refrain from rulership and be inclined to leadership.
The true attribute difference between both is that the former is for those who are tyrants, while the latter describes those who are given to service.

VISION IN FULFILMENT
Fulfillment is simply a realm of life that explains the state of joy, satisfaction, and rest being derived on every side of life as a result of being and operating in your place of purpose.

It is giving or pouring out what you are naturally endowed with to serve positive and profitable purposes without necessarily expecting or deriving material or monetary gains as an original motive.
You can ask yourself, ‘Am I fulfilled as I assume?’
That question is really worthwhile! It is a very crucial test question for every living being on planet Earth if you indeed desire to become fulfilled in life.

Until you understand the place and relevance of vision in the fulfillment of your life’s purpose, you will never be able to connect between the process and reality of it.
Sometimes, what is referred to as fulfillment is a mere achievement or success without the ingredients that make achievement and success fulfillment.

Without a vision in the process and place of pursuit, there is little to what you can point to as a state or realm of fulfillment in the journey of life.
Fulfillment is all-encompassing, and it requires a whole lot of orientation, deep understanding, and application for its actualization in all ramifications of life. Anything short of this will simply amount to living in mere achievements under the guise of fulfillment.

“Beloved, I wish above all things, that you should prosper and be in health, even in the same measure at which your soul prospers.” (3 John).
In other words, your physical and spiritual prosperity must be commensurate with the prosperity level of your soul before you can be termed fulfilled.

Remember that you are a man. You are a spirit that lives in the body, and you have a soul.
Your soul consists of the mind, will, and emotion. So, if these three parts of your soul are not developed to stand every gory phase and event of life, they will become susceptible to hypnotism, manipulations, negative thoughts, influences, decisions, and actions such as fear and doubt that will, in the long run, affect the way you think or reason.
This state of yours has a great influence on your vision for the future of your life’s purpose and fulfillment.
So, you must first conceive fulfillment with the eyes of understanding before it can become a reality in your life.

Fulfillment is not automatic. Nobody arrives at it overnight; it is an attainment that is realized through a process of time. It is a journey that is characterized by misfortunes and fortunes, and it is your response or reactions to the events of those times and seasons that will eventually determine whether you will attain fulfillment or not.
So, it takes the availability of vision to be able to see through the dark days of the present into the fulfillment that you desire.

Stop being easily moved or carried away by just what you hear or see; be convinced by what you experience and learn with a futuristic mindset. It is better to be given to studying than just mere reading or listening.
The meaning and reality of every phenomenon of life will down on you accurately when you have the practical and realistic personal encounter and experience of it.

It doesn’t matter what you are taught or told, where you will find yourself, in the long run, will be determined by how much of the original knowledge you have access to; and that is where your personal vision will convince you of your fulfillment in life comes in, both in and out of season.

There can never be fulfillment without the commensurate vision to conceive, sustain, and uphold it till it comes to the limelight, otherwise, all your dreams will end up as fiction at the instance when the inevitable storms of life begin to rage.
Vision is more powerful than division.

Once you have caught the vision to arrive at your destination, no condition or circumstance will be strong enough to divide your attention, distract you, or shatter your genuine resolve for fulfillment.

VISION IN SUCCESS
Nobody was born successful, but we were all successfully born because we survived- succeeded in childbirth, and remain alive today to fulfill that purpose on earth for which we were conceived in the womb and given birth.

Success is a personal choice and a feat with certain principles that can only be achievable by individuals if pre-conceived, intentionally, and consciously sustained by a vision to attain it.
Until you visualize success through the eyes of vision, you won’t be able to withstand the unpleasant circumstances of life that precede it. Otherwise, you will give up in the process and forfeit your desire to become successful.

“See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.” (Deuteronomy 11:26-28).

Where you find the word, ‘commandment’ in the above scripture is a representation of ‘principle.’ Whether you refer to it as being ‘spiritual’ or ‘logical,’ principles guide the route to success, and that principle must remain your focus indicator, which is your vision.

I was to write and publish a book for the founder and CEO of a reputable corporate organization a couple of years ago, to be launched during his 50th, which was supposed to be about six months ahead.
He said his friend did so, and he would also like to do the same.

During the planning stage and discussion about the process and requirements, he suddenly became skeptical and doubtful at a point, and I perceived his mind was clustered with impossibility thoughts of him ever becoming an author. That was what eroded his mind, and nothing else! I have never seen such in my involvements of its kind.
He had the motive to succeed in what he saw others succeed in, and he wanted to follow suit. He had the resources, but he never had a vision to sustain and actualize it.

When his fears became so glaring to me, I did all I could to encourage him, but eventually, he gave up on that project.
Thereafter, I requested his account details for me to make a refund of his dawn payment, but he refused and asked me to have it.

In some instances, that you have money is not a ticket to success if you have not conceived and held on to the vision that will preserve your desired success.

The reason many people desire success but never attain to it is because they never had the vision for the future of what they desired. Some people’s desire for other people’s success is borne out of competitive-mindedness, inferiority complex, envy, and jealousy, without the awareness of what it entails to achieve it.

Your vision is the power of optimism that keeps your drive up to the task for attainment. Without a vision, you will give up on any slight present and temporary hitches on your road to success, which may automatically amount to failure, and may also affect other ‘innocent’ areas of your life.

An impaired vision in a desire can cripple your chances of becoming successful in whatever area of life where you desire it.
No matter how desirous you are for success, if you don’t have a vision of what you want, your desires will end up as mere wishes because there is no connected string that sustains it from the stage of inception to its realm of perfection.

There is an adage that says, “If wishes were horses, everyone would ride.”
It is not enough to wish for success. Success is not wished, it is attained, and it takes the conception of a sustaining vision for that success to see the light of day.
Your vision for your desires keeps you connected to your arrival pace right from your departure state, no matter how rough or unpleasant your take-off condition might be.

At whatever stage you find yourself in the journey of success, whether seemingly impossible or rosy, your vision will remain a bank of your glaring imaginary pictures and other abstract resources that will transmit to the visible results and reality of where you are heading to.

Any craving for success without a vision to sustain and uphold it in the face of inevitable crises-ridden phases of life is simply a disaster seeking a season for its manifestation.

While you remain success-thirsty, also make up to become vision-driven.

VISION IN PURPOSE
A couple of years ago, I was in a counseling conversation with a young lady who was then in her early twenties, awaiting and preparing to be admitted into the higher institution of learning to study Mass Communication.

Being inquisitive, just to be sure she understood the path of career she had chosen, I asked her, “Why did you choose Mass Communication as your discipline?”
“I really do not know, sir! All I know is that I want to go and study that course in a higher institution,” she responded reluctantly.

That was simply a case of having a purpose of going on a mission into the higher institution, but without a vision to fulfill that purpose for a future outcome.

I did the needful by counseling to help her get her thoughts and intentions right until she was able to navigate her way through the right direction.
She would have just fallen victim to passing through school without school also passing through her.

Having the resolve to fulfill a purpose in life is not as relevant as having and remaining connected to the vision with which to fulfill that purpose. It is as good as embarking on a journey without a picture of the final destination of that journey in mind.
It could be likened to the case of a tourist on a mission without a location in mind.

People with vision in purpose are not controlled by what they are going through but are motivated by where they are going.
Many have had the tires of their destinies punctured and missed it due to a lack of vision in the place of purpose as a result of a crisis in just one particular aspect of their lives, which doesn’t even have the potential to last long or consume them.

If you tell people that the decision you are taking now is the same one you would still have taken in the future if you are denied the opportunity now, you will end up a laughing stock if you eventually vomit your words due to any current or temporary light affliction.
It will make you lose value and approval in their hearts of the so-called bravado that you portrayed.
For such people, any little obstacle, clash, misunderstanding, and unpleasant experience or occurrence in an area of their life’s journey is an avenue for them to throw in the towel and take a bow. That’s immaturity, and the resultant effects are usually very grievous, but they can’t see it due to shortsightedness.

Men of vision in purpose don’t give up on their boats at a slight view of a shark ahead of them while sailing on the sea.
It takes someone with a vision for the future of a purpose to endure the stormy journey to that future and become entitled to the resultant benefits.

“But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13).

Jesus as a man of vision knew and saw the end from the beginning of the journey on the boat with His disciples, hence His calmness and authority to calm the boisterous wind and still the storm.

One of the attributes of those who operate in purpose without a vision is they are more conscious of the present gratifications, fame, accolades, recognitions, and rewards than the prospects, that the future holds in stock. At the instance of a slight misfortune, they let loose and make hasty destructive decisions without due double-checking.

Purpose isn’t just a name; it is a race. For a race to be embarked upon, it requires time, patience, development, endurance, understanding, resilience, optimism, and above all, vision.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12:).

How many indeed possess great visions in their bid to fulfilling purpose?

Note these four (4) focal points:
-There is no magnitude of purpose you want to fulfill that will stand the test of time without a vision in place.
-Vision gives you a reason not to quit because you have a glaring picture of your destination, no matter how rough the road to the journey is.
-Vision forms a reason for your endurance, perseverance, patience, and tenacity because it helps you set your gaze on the future amidst the raging storms of your life’s journey.
-There is little you can cover in the distance race of purpose journey if the vision that should connect you to your future is impaired.

Obviously, nobody knows tomorrow, but through a vision, we can prepare and connect with the future with due diligence of heart in the race of purpose and make everything worthwhile.

It is only through your vision that you can become and remain connected with your future in the pursuit of fulfilling your purpose.

CHALLENGES MAKE BETTER, ALLEGATION STRENGTHENS
Someone very close and dear to me once accused me of a ritual attempt against her in the face of a very boiling challenge of life.
I mean someone in a better position to know what I am capable of doing or not.

At the instance when the allegation came up, it hit me down to my bones and marrows, shook my mental and emotional health, took me up in a very ragging trauma, and I got dazzled in-between questions like, ‘where is this coming from?’ ‘what’s the meaning of this?’

At a point, I wanted to burst into laughter, but on second thought, I asked myself; ‘Or, wait a minute, could there be anything I am doing that appears like engaging in rituals?’
During this time around, what would have been the level of your blood pressure, especially if you already had a problem with yours? I’m sure your thought would be as good as mine.

In life, learn to plan and prepare yourself for the unexpected, especially when you are a candidate for greatness.
Challenges will come, allegations will surface, but don’t give up! They won’t crush you; they will only make you better.
Challenges are inevitable because they have been divinely wired to become part of life’s instrument of strength and greatness.

Greatness doesn’t just jump at you, it is a realm that is associated with, processed, and actualized through a gradual phase of time, events, places, and people.
If you have lived a challenge-free life since you were born till date, then you need to ask for God’s telephone number to ascertain if you are human or not, or if you have a bright future or not.

There are battles you cannot fight by yourself, but you can still win.
Daniel in the bible wouldn’t have withstood the Den of Lions, yet he survived.
Remember, he was the most preferred among his colleagues because the spirit of excellence was upon him. So, anyone operating at the highest level of hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness, and revenge against you with a sinister agenda could go to any length to malign you.

David by human standards was a piece of sheet in the sight of Goliath, yet the supernatural was the result. He had a very opposing upgrowing due to the uniqueness of his divine personality.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego because of their stand with God were bundled into the burning fire, but it turned into a cold room with a strange fourth man of divinity appearing to them. It takes God on your side to still your avengers.

Joseph had a share of the divide because jealousy, envy, bitterness, and hatred didn’t let him off the trap of destruction, yet, he reigned in destiny.

Trials and tribulations will never cease as long as you are cut out for greatness and you are still very much alive. It takes challenges to scale the hurdles of impossibilities into the realm of the possibilities.

That you are truly right doesn’t make you right in the sights of everybody. Your best friend could be initiated, possessed, or hypnotized to run you down.
When your haters mean you, they will go to any length, through any means or strategy to assassinate you dead or alive. It will only take persistence in God and what you know about the truth for you to end up being vindicated.

What are your trials, tribulations, and tests of life?
Beloved, it's only a matter of time.

Do not fidget; stop wailing and give room for the acclaimed wise and crafty to have their ways.
If indeed there is a just God, then there is a justification in the long run.
