Xenophobia: ‘You Are Fighting Wrong War’ – Wizkid Breaks Silence On Killings Of Nigerians In South Africa!!!

Wizkid, reacting, expressed sadness over the videos showing Nigerians been killed.

He urged Africans to treat each other as one, adding that, ‘ We are all humans before anything else.’

The ‘Fever’ crooner stressed that South Africans are fighting the wrong war.

On his Twitter page, Wizkid wrote:-

”Disheartening to watch these videos from my home! You’re fighting the wrong war , fighting the wrong people.
“How do we walk around hating each other? Africa is one! We’re all the same people! Please don’t lose yourself! . One Love
“Please educate yourselves, educate the kids , educate the youth!
“We’re all humans before anything else! “Humans” and most importantly “Africans”

President Buhari breaks silence on recent xenophobic attacks on Nigeria, sends special envoy to South Africa
President Buhari has reacted to the recent Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
A statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina today September 3rd, says President Buhari has sent a Special Envoy to South Africa to convey to President Cyril Ramaphosa, his concerns over reported attacks on Nigerian citizens and property in the former apartheid enclave since August 29th.

President Muhammadu Buhari has noted with deep concern, reported attacks on Nigerian citizens and property in South Africa since August 29, 2019.
Consequently, the President has instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, to summon the South African High Commissioner to Nigeria and get a brief on the situation; express Nigeria’s displeasure over the treatment of her citizens; and assurance of the safety of their lives and property.
President Buhari has also dispatched a Special Envoy to convey to President Cyril Ramaphosa his concerns and also interact with his South African counterpart on the situation.
The Special Envoy is expected to arrive in Pretoria latest Thursday, September 5, 2019.

Innocent "2face" Idibia is still pouring out his mind in reaction to the xenophobia in South Africa, where Nigerians and other African Nationals are getting killed and their businesses destroyed.
The singer addressed those calling out celebrities for not speaking up. He reminded them that they need not be celebrities in order to speak up. He used Nelson Mandela as an example.
He also called out the government of Nigeria for their inaction in the face of the xenophobic attack on Nigerians living in South Africa.

'There can be no justification for any South African to attack people from other countries' - President Ramaphosa condemns Xenophobic attacks (Video)
South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned Xenophobic attack on Nigerians and others in his country, saying security forces are on high alert.
According to Ramaphosa, “our security forces are on high alert. Whilst in no way, can we take away the sense of deep loss and unbearable pain you experience, as a country we commit ourselves to continue to work tirelessly to building the kind of South Africa, where indeed women and children will be safe.”
He went on to say; “I condemn the violence that has been spreading around a number of our provinces in the strongest terms. I’m convening the ministers in the security cluster today to make sure that we keep a close eye on these acts of wanton violence and find ways of stopping them.
“The people of our country want to live in harmony; whatever concerns or grievances we may have, we need to handle them in a democratic way. There can be no justification for any South African to attack people from other countries.
“We express our deep pain, support, solidarity and love to the families, friends and loved ones of all those who have lost their lives in the last month (Uyinene Mrwetyana, Leighandre Jegels, Nolunde Vumsindo, Meghan Cremer, Jesse Hess to mention but a few).”
