THE SPIRIT-BASED TEST ~ Apostle Arome Osayi

Have you ever LISTENED TO A PREACHER, maybe on UTube or on FB, and you like what the person is saying but something just DOESN'T add up?

Has it happened to you before?

It means you're alive.

That's the difference between TRUE and TRUTH.

What you heard with your ear is true but THE SPIRIT OF GOD (The Truth) is saying NO.

YOU don't know why. You can't place your hand on what it is exactly but your heart's ALARM SYSTEM just keeps sounding. Not once. Not twice. It's like that almost EVERY time you come into that person's space.

That's a SPIRIT-BASED TEST - the testimony of the SPIRIT OF TRUTH within your vessel, saying "This is not from Me. This person doesn't have my endorsement."

Similarly, you might have also heard someone, maybe THE PERSON is even REBUKING you. And you don't like it because the person is touching strange places on your matter. But in your spirit, you find VALIDATION for this person.

That's a spirit-based test.

"The SPIRIT itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are THE CHILDREN OF GOD:" Romans 8:16

May your spirit ALWAYS be sensitive to the witness of THE SPIRIT OF GOD TO PRESERVE YOU from deceit in JESUS' NAME.

APOLOGY LETTER BY Pastor biodun fatoyinbo

PRESS RELEASE BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF ZION ASSEMBLY

RE: PRESS RELEASE BY THE CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH ( New) ON BIODUN FATOYINBO

My attention has been drawn to a press release on statements credited to my person relating to the family of the Late and Highly Revered Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, a most distinguished father of faith in Nigeria and indeed all over the world.

I appreciate the fact that a church I personally love, admire and respect would be so kind and magnanimous enough to address the issues which have been misconstrued in an exemplary Christian manner. I am indeed grateful.

The exploits of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, which in the video I stated explicitly are too numerous to count remains the hall mark of most Christian organizations in Nigeria and beyond till this very moment.

Indeed many of the churches in this part of the world take their DNA either directly or indirectly from the ministry and grace over the life of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola of which I cannot but also state categorically that I am a beneficiary.

I am therefore honored, humbled and grateful for every word, admonition and correction in the statement issued this morning by CAC. I am a child who grew up in the church and cannot erase that part of my formative years.

Let me state however that at no time in the sermon did I refer to the children of the late Apostle and Father of faith in bad light. I would never do that. The raw copy of the message is online and this can be verified.

Our church is known worldwide as a place of Honor and I would never in any way of manner take lightly the grace over Apostle Babalola, his children or his ministry for granted or speak lightly of same.

I am also aware that the children of the late Veteran of faith, who are all serving God and keeping up the legacy of our late father of faith are not only shining examples of generational impact, but good and present day examples for children of visionaries to follow.

I remain proud of their achievements and honor them in no small measure.

Finally, I apologize if any other statement made by me has caused any form of distress, hurt or discontentment to the CAC, the family of the late Apostle Babalola or his associates.

I will never disrespect or speak of them in that manner either publicly or privately.

I pray that this puts to rest the entire episode and we pray that the CAC and the legacy of our father Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

Your Son,

The CAC NEWS Response to Pastor biodun fatoyinbo

Dear Pastor biodun fatoyinbo

Greetings to you in the Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Ordinarily, we do not respond to social media commentaries or controversies. However, we consider it necessary to address your recent statements, which have been widely circulated on your social media platforms, for the following three reasons:

1. Scriptural Justification — The Bible permits us to respond wisely to folly to prevent arrogance (Proverbs 26:5).

2. Clarification of Truth — To correct the misleading narrative you are promoting about ministry and wealth.

3. Defense of Legacy — To address the inaccurate claims you’ve made regarding the life and ministry of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, the first General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church.

In one of your trending messages on YouTube, you acknowledged that Apostle Babalola was highly anointed but "had no money", and then went on to ask sarcastically, “Where are his children?” — a question that was both insensitive and ill-informed.

To equate anointing or ministerial success with material wealth is biblically flawed. The words of Jesus are clear:

"Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses." — Luke 12:15.

Yet, your teachings suggest otherwise.

In doing so, you promote what the Bible refers to as Simony — the monetization of spiritual gifts (Acts 8:18–24). The Scriptures do not teach that money is a sign of anointing. Rather, “the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). Which Bible do you read and preach from?

On the Question of Apostle Babalola’s Children

Ethically speaking, Apostle Babalola had children. Simple arithmetic should help you understand that they would be advanced in age by now — possibly your grandparents' age. What did you hope to achieve with the mocking question, “Where are the children of Babalola?”

Your statement reflects more on the kind of company you keep, but as a preacher of the Word, shouldn’t your conduct and utterances be guided by Scripture?

Where in the Bible does your brand of prosperity theology originate — one that demeans people for not being wealthy? Isn’t such a message encouraging greed, corruption, and godlessness, especially in a nation already struggling with moral decay?

Setting the Record Straight

For the sake of truth and posterity, let me correct the public misrepresentations you’ve made regarding Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola:

1. Calling

Apostle Babalola was called by God on October 10, 1928, at the age of 24. His ministry spanned Western and Midwestern Nigeria, and extended to the Gold Coast (now Ghana), marked by undeniable signs and wonders.

2. Wealth and Lifestyle

He was blessed — but not materialistic or greedy. He gave lands to the Church, supported the education of many, fed the poor, and lived sacrificially. He housed more people than just his biological children.

When Queen Elizabeth II visited Nigeria in February 1956, Apostle Babalola was among the honored guests. Would a man in rags be granted such recognition by a colonial government? Certainly not.

He was no fundraiser, yet God supplied his needs. His diaries are filled with divine provisions like: “Ipese Olorun loni: £100.00, £50.00...”

He lived in a befitting home, drove one of the best Ford Jeeps of his time, and funded weddings, education, and apprenticeship programs — all without exploiting the pulpit.

3. Family

His children — Mama Eunice Wuraola Ogini and Apeke Adeniyi — are alive, blessed, fulfilled, and quietly serving the Lord in their respective churches. They are not loud, ostentatious, or greedy.

4. Legacy

Apostle Babalola’s anointing impacted generations. More than 66 years after his passing, his legacy continues to inspire and bless countless lives and ministries. That is true impact.

Let me pose a question to you:

When Peter said in Acts 3:6, “Silver and gold I do not have…” — was he still anointed or not?
I leave that for you to ponder.

5. Conclusion

The measure of a believer’s anointing is not in material accumulation, but in sacrificial service.

"For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." — Romans 14:17.

Jesus taught:

“Whoever desires to be great among you, let him be your servant… just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” — Matthew 20:25–28.

Once again,
“Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” — Luke 12:15.

May God give us all the grace to rightly divide the Word of Truth, and to walk in humility, reverence, and godly wisdom.

Keep honoring God and let your heart remain steadfast in faith.

When you hold on to Him, He begins to orchestrate things in your favor. He will remove the wrong people, align the right opportunities, and bring healing where there was sickness.

That health condition is not your end. That opposition at work is not your final story. Even in loneliness, God’s presence is your sustaining strength.

You must learn to outlast the trials of life. Outlast the sickness with unwavering faith. Outlast the injustice with a heart that knows God is your vindicator. Outlast the delay, for God is preparing something greater than you imagined.

The strength to endure is not your own; it’s a divine supply of grace that keeps you standing when everything says, “Quit.”

The Word of God reminds us, “He who endures to the end will receive the prize” (Matthew 24:13).

Don’t faint because the journey feels longer than expected. Don’t give in to discouragement because the answers haven’t yet come.

Your endurance is building spiritual muscle, refining your faith, and positioning you for what God is about to release in your life.

Your time is coming. The God who never fails is preparing to show His faithfulness in your life. Stay the course. Keep believing, keep praising, and keep standing.

At the appointed time, your testimony will shine, and you will declare the faithfulness of the Lord.

TELL DINAH TO STAY IN THE HOUSE: THE DEVILS ARE PROWLING AROUND

WHO IS DINAH?
"And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her" (Gen 34:1,2).

Notice that the Bible did not say Shechem forced her as in the case of Amnon and Tamar (2Sam 13:14). The word says, "he took her"; yes, it might have been by flattery and enticement, the bottom line is that he got into her without force. Would that had happened if Dinah had stayed in her father's house? I doubt it.

Therefore, tell them to stay in the house. Tell them that raging s*x hormones are normal and temporal, but if they become reckless with where they go and what they do, they could mar their precious lives permanently. Tell them to fear for their lives. Show them that you care. Show them Christ's kind of love. They'll stay and be saved.

WHO'S DINAH IN OUR TIME?
They are our girl children. They may look babyish or big with all the features of a grown up woman, but they're still children. They're children in their hearts, in their experiences in life, and in reasoning. Let's tell them and encourage them to stay in the house. Why? Because the devils are out there moving around like a roaring and raging lions, seeking whom to STEAL, and to KILL, and to DESTROY (1Pt 5:8; Jn 10:10).

WHO ARE THESE DEVILS?
They're are wicked men and boys parading our streets. What our girls see is a six-foot-plus tall, fashion-conscious and smooth-talking handsome dude, but he's a devil in human body. They're looking for quick, hot money, and they're seeking 'sacrificial lambs' to offer for it. Whatever will make a set of teenage boys take the life of a fellow human girl for money is nothing but devil incarnation. We live in a very dangerous time; we parents and guardians must wake up to the realities of it.

MOTHERS:
The bulk of the job lies at your door steps, because, by natural design, you are closer to our girls than the fathers. Develop an eagle's eyesight. Wake up from the sleep of carelessness. These children represent your tomorrow. Forget about the excuses that "the father is not doing what he ought to do", "I'm a single mother" and watch over your children like a grizzly bear will watch over her cubs. Do all it takes and all the sacrifices you need to make to protect them from the predators of our time. Be like the duck which keeps her ducklings in front of herself to keep an eye on them and not like the hen which keeps her chicks behind. That's why it's easier for hawks to prey on hen's chicks.

Your girl is going out, you don't know who her friends are nor where they're going, and you said bye-bye? Are you crazy? You're going out leaving your girls with male relatives or aquaintances from church or mosque, saying you trust them; Mum, you must be living outside of this age. You know the pressures that bombarded you from males around you while growing up, why are you playing naive now? Please, wake up.

FATHERS;
Realise the position in which God has placed you, and the responsibility that goes with it. If you fail, you will answer to God. Take up your responsibilities to provide for and protect your children. If you let your children go astray and even died in the process, on the account of your slacks, know for sure that God will require their bloods at your hand.

You slept with a woman and got her pregnant, but instead of you to own up and take up your responsibility to care for the child, you denied her and ran away, you will pay. Even if you get born-again later you will still pay. Pray that your paying will not involve paying with your life. We must be very careful with our lives.

Show love to your children, especially, your girls. Listen to them. Don't just indulge them with gifts and money thinking that's all they need, make time to be with them. Turn off the TV and converse with them. Teach them about men and boys. Teach them about life. Seek to know their friends.

CHILDREN;
Take your life seriously, it is precious and has no duplicate. Don't be like the Dinah of the Bible who wandered about aimlessly and carelessly with the "daughters of the land" until she got into the hand of the devil who defiled her. If you have godly parents who train and teach you how to conduct and protect your life, you better listen to them for the sake of your own self. There are countless number of girls out there without a home or any body to care for them, let alone protect them. Many of them, if they die on the street, nobody will even look for them or bewail them. It's that bad. So, if you have parents who care about you and look out for your safety, you better appreciate them and don't take them for granted. Take off that silliness and foolishness from your heart, and stop being reckless with your life. There are devils out there waiting to pounce on stubborn and disobedient children to kill and destroy them. Please, fear for your life.

OCCUPY YOUR HANDS AND MINDS WITH NOBLE VENTURES:
If you're bored, that's no excuse to allow your feet wander around to places of danger. Find something worthwhile to do for yourself. Be creative. Offer to help someone around you doing something good for free. Learn a trade, if you don't have an adult to take you to the one you fancy, go and explain yourself to the master, if God appoints him/her as your destiny helper, he/she will take you. Boys should go to men, and girls should go to women. Learn musical instruments. Volunteer to help in repairing some amenities in your neighborhood for free, who knows, you can 'jam' the favour of your destiny helper while doing it, when they see how hardworking and well-behaved you are. Look out for responsible and goal-getting kids around you and be friends with them. Run away from bad boys and wayward, disobedient kids no matter how 'cool' they may seem to you. Whatever they dangle before you now is pure vanity that will not hold any profitable value in a few years to come. Stay with the good values that your parents and godly counsellors are teaching you. Your life will be a praise to God and a blessing to you generation for many years to come.

HOMELESS CHILDREN;
We understand that there are children who are homeless and are on the streets, not by their own making, but by life's negative circumstances (broken homes, products of unwanted pregnancies, orphaned, escaping abuse and molestation from home etc). These children are exposed to various vices on daily basis i.e. s*x, alcohol and drugs, cultism, banditary etc. These children suffer and die everyday without anybody taking notice of them. I pray God to take care of these children. I pray God to empower more godly NGOs to spring up and take up these children in their care, in Jesus Name. I pray that before it will be too late, help will come for these children, and they will fulfill divine destiny, even in the midst of all negative and impossible circumstances, in Jesus Name.

TO ALL OF US;
Please, let's all take responsibility for the Dinahs around us, and tell them to stay in the house. "That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace" (Ps 144:12).

Amen.

I have something worth more than Gold....

It's unfortunate that most people doubt the power of the word of God.
Most people tag it as irrelevant and others see it as a mere combination of words , very old in time

-------

Psalm 119:130
The entrance of the word brings light and understanding to the simple.
Remember how the people of Israel waited and craved for the word of God. They waited night and day for Moses to return.

--------
Jesus entered a temple and picked up a scroll (A word of God) and read where it was written about him .......... that's how important the word is.

Why should I read the word of God?

💎 It's Life transforming

💎it gives insights about life

💎 It's a guide for believers

And many more!

How often do you read the bible
