Meet Mrs. Yemisi Ogunlade, our Mum of the Month for June🩵, who wears many hats🎩 with purpose and grace.
She is an Education and Business Management Consultant, and the Principal Consultant at Plumptre Advisory, where she helps families make informed educational choices for international study👩🏽🎓🌎.
Beyond the boardroom, she is a wife and mum of two, an active mentor, a British Council Certified Counsellor and currently serves as the Chair of the Education & Schools Group of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce.
She tells us every hat she wears is connected by a central thread: she’s passionate about helping people grow into who they are meant to become, what she like to call "the intersection of people, purpose and possibility"🤝🏽.
In the midst of all of this, she calls motherhood “one of the most defining journeys of her life.”
From beginning motherhood without the traditional support of an ‘omugwo’ experience, to raising confident, grounded children in an ever-changing world, her journey has been one of resilience, intentionality, and continuous growth😊💪🏽.
In this inspiring conversation, she shares her thoughts on modern parenting, balancing work and family, building a business from the ground up, and the motherhood myth she believes every mum should stop believing.
