🌟 Here's a piece of advice for those wanting to get started in tech:
🚀 Firstly, know what you want. When developing a skill, know exactly what you want. Don't spread yourself too thin. In tech, there are numerous skills; choose one, focus on it and put your all in it Don't be everywhere!. Ensure you're passionate about it.
Personally, I can't devote my time to something I'm not passionate about. To excel in this skill, you must have passion for it. There'll come a time when you'll feel like giving up, but your love for the skill will drive you to persevere.
🚀 If you're in a bootcamp, don't rely solely on the curriculum. Conduct research, explore YouTube, Udemy courses, and FreeCodeCamp. The facilitators will do their best, but they can't provide everything. You must take responsibility for your own learning.
🚀 Build projects:
One thing is to learn another thing is to practice what you have learnt. Building projects related to your skill helps you to reinforce your learning. Practice every day; even two hours a day is sufficient. If you stop learning and practicing, you'll forget what you knew. So keep learning and practicing!
🚀 Be consistent:
Consistency is the key. You must stay consistent, especially when the going gets tough. That's the time to even go harder
🚀 Put yourself out there:
Share your expertise with the world. Post your projects on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. It opens you up to greater opportunities. Don't feel inadequate; My dear you are not. It's okay to start small.
You'll definitely make it big one day my dear dev♥️
