Topic: Worthy to be Praised
Text: Psalm 18: 1-3
The Psalmist uses the words 'I' and 'my' severally to speak to very personal realities. Psalm 23
This Congress is for individuals.
What God is going to do, He is doing for individuals.
Reasons why we should praise the God of all flesh:
1. He made all flesh and He can control all flesh.
God made you you, and He made you in His image.
He made you so precious that the wealth of the whole world cannot buy you.
Because God made you you, if something goes wrong, He can correct it.
I have good news for you.
If the doctors have told you there is nothing more they can do, the God of all flesh can now take over.
For He is sending His word to heal you. Psalm 107:20
2. He is merciful. Lamentations 3: 22-23
His mercies keep you daily.
Do you know how many miracles you have received this year?
Miracles of sleeping and waking up, breathing, travelling and arriving safely, and more.
3. You don't know the miracle of breathing until you see someone struggling to breathe under the influence of corona virus. Psalm 150:6
When you know how difficult life can be because you can't breathe, when you find someone begging to die, then you realise that you don't even think about breathing before breathing. You're just breathing.
4. If you're still breathing, then you're alive. And God is not in a hurry to take your breath.
Where there is life, there is hope.
There is nothing as terrible as you enjoying the presence of God once upon a time, then He leaves you alone. Psalm 22: 1-3
It is better to die than to be forsaken by God.
How beautiful your life would be if you could hear God for yourself.
No prophet will be able to deceive you.
There is nothing as beautiful as enjoying the presence of God.
Praise makes the Lord dwell in the presence of His people.
+ God's instruction to Jehoshaphat was to praise Him. They praised God and He fought for them. 2 Chronicles 20: 1-25
Tonight, you will praise God.
Lift your voice to Him and praise Him with all your heart.
