🎄 CHRISTMAS FAMILY PRAYER

Dear God,
thank You for the gift of my family
and for bringing us together this Christmas.

Christmas is more than lights, gifts, and gatherings.
At its heart, it is the holy mystery of God entering the world through a family.
On that first sacred night, love, humility, and divine purpose met in simplicity,
reminding us that Your greatest gifts often come quietly.

We thank You for our families—not because they are perfect,
but because they are sacred.
Families are where love is learned, tested, and refined.
They can be fragile, sometimes strained, often challenging,
yet in a fractured world, gathering together is itself a grace.

Fill our home with Your love,
Your peace, and Your joy
as we celebrate the birth of Your Son,
our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We ask not for comfort or abundance,
but for the virtues that truly sustain us.
Let love strengthen our bonds,
let peace heal old wounds,
and let joy rise above every circumstance.

May Christ be at the center of our celebration.
For Christmas without Christ is only nostalgia,
but Christmas with Christ becomes transformation.
May His presence teach us to forgive more easily,
to love more deeply,
and to hope more boldly.

Help us cherish one another,
not only in words but in daily acts of patience and mercy.
And as Your light fills our home,
send us forth to reflect that light to the world around us—

Dear God, I will always be in awe when I think of how great your love for me, and everyone in this world, is. We weren't anywhere close to righteous when you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us; but that did not stop you. It did not move you away from us.
