A decree was signed.
Prayer became a crime.

He prayed as he always had.

Obedience led him to the lion’s den.
But obedience also summoned divine protection.

God sent His angel.
The lions’ mouths were shut.
Daniel stood unharmed.

Those who plot evil fall into it.
Those who trust God are preserved.

God still delivers the faithful today.
