Great speech from Tor Tiv, Prof. James Ayatse, Laments Misrepresentation of Benue Security Crisis

The Paramount Ruler of the Tiv Nation, His Royal Majesty, Tor Tiv Prof. James Ayatse, has expressed deep concern over the persistent misrepresentation and misinformation surrounding the security crisis in Benue State.

Speaking during President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit, the Tor Tiv stated:

“Mr. President, what we are facing here in Benue is not a case of mere farmers-herders clashes or communal disputes. It is a calculated, well-planned, full-scale genocidal invasion and land-grabbing campaign carried out by terrorists and bandits. These attacks have continued unabated for several years now.”

The royal father warned that a wrong diagnosis of the situation would inevitably lead to wrong solutions.

“This is not about reprisal attacks or isolated skirmishes. It is this dangerous misinformation that leads to misleading suggestions such as ‘remain tolerant,’ ‘negotiate for peace,’ or ‘learn to live with your neighbors.’ Such narratives do not reflect the true nature of what our people are going through,” he emphasized.

Tor Tiv called on the President to acknowledge the true nature of the crisis and take decisive action to stop the killings and displacement of Benue people.

In the early hours of today, I went out to hustle for my daily bread.
I took a passenger from saba market wurukum going to government house.

When reaching wurukum round-about an officers of the Nigeria Police Force Benue State Police Command, Makurdi E Division tragically shot and k an innocent young girl.

The incident occurred at Wurukum Roundabout, where a bullet fired by the police pierced through the vehicle she was in.

One is being chased by USA and French military while the other is tormented by the Nigerian state for speaking against the rich.

They want them out and silenced by all means.

These two are friends to the poor but enemies to the rich.

The world is an unfortunate place for the poor.

I hand them over to the gods I save! May they be protected as I also release curses to their tormentors.
