AGUNBIAKA-OFIRAN KINGDOM DRAWS FULL SUPPORT FOR OKL AS PREFERRED HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CANDIDATE FOR IBEJU-LEKKI CONSTITUENCY I

There was renewed enthusiasm in Agunbiaka-Ofiran Kingdom today as the community declared its full support for Hon. (Engr.) Abiola Okanlawon Olowu, OKL, FNSE, as its preferred candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

It is with profound sorrow and the deepest respect that I write to express my heartfelt condolences on the passing of High Chief Salia (SOLIU) ALASE, THE ALASE OF IBEJU LAND, The news of his departure has cast a solemn shadow, not only over the household but over all who recognised the dignity, wisdom, and steadfast leadership he embodied.

Baba Alase of such standing leaves behind a legacy that transcends the ordinary measure of years. His presence commanded honor, his counsel guided many, and his example upheld the traditions and values that bind a people together. In his life, he stood as a pillar of strength and continuity. In his passing, that same stature continues to inspire reverence and gratitude.

I know that no words can fully ease the weight of this loss. Yet I pray that his family and loved ones may find solace in the knowledge that his memory will be held in honour, that the good he did will endure, and that the dignity with which he lived will remain a light for those who follow.

May the Almighty Allah grant his soul peaceful rest, and may He strengthen and comfort every member of Baba Alase family in this season of mourning.

It was a massive show of party strength and royal solidarity today as members of the OKL Groups trooped out in their numbers to welcome His Excellency, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Governor of Lagos State and APC Governorship Candidate, and his running mate, Hon.Damilola Sanyon-James, during a familiarisation visit and engagement with Kabiyesis and Bales across Epe Division.

The strategic engagement, held at the Jubilee Chalét, Epe, was attended by traditional rulers, political stakeholders, and party leaders, in a clear demonstration of the party’s preparedness for the forthcoming elections.

..Track Record of Service Positions APC Candidate as Due Choice for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 1.

For years, the people of Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 1 have watched, waited, and benefited. Now, they say the time has come for Hon. (Engr.) Abiola Okanlawon Olowu, Okl, FNSE to take their voice to the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The reason is simple and captured in what many now call “The Abiola Olowu Story: Resilient, Patient & Leads.”

Even without holding political office, Hon. Olowu has remained resilient in addressing critical needs across the constituency.

He facilitated the donation of borehole water systems powered by 2.8KVA generators to communities. He also facilitated a solar-powered water system for Offiran Community and donated a water project to Town Hall, Ibeju-Agbe, expanding access to potable water.

His patience in grassroots engagement is evident in projects targeted at youths, institutions, and community structures.

He championed the construction of five viewing centers across Ibeju, equipped with televisions, DSTV and generators. The centers were commissioned by party leaders including Dr. Tola Kasali, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, and Alhaji Tunde Isiaq.

He also financed the tiling of the Lekki LCDA APC Party Secretariat, and donated five dozens of plastic chairs to the Teachers Forum, Ibeju, to support learning and meetings.
