I grew up in Ijisun, Ootunja, a small town in the Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria, Africa. I was surrounded by the melodies of village life—the rhythmic sound of talking drums, folk songs, and the vibrant energy of local festivals and Anglican Hymns.
As a proud descendant of the great Ozone Olaleye Omojokun, Ejisun Lineage, from a young age. Music captivated me and dreamt of sharing the stories of my people and salvation through Jesus Christ with the world.
Despite the lack of resources, I never gave up on my passion. I spend my evenings listening to my father's old radio and the black and white TV, imagining a day when I could bring the sounds and voice of my immediate communities including Ootunja to the people far and wide.
Determined to learn more, under the influence of Canon Rev Folusho J. Kolawole, Founder, Rhema Planters, USA, Michael Olusegun Buraimoh, Senior Pastor, The Lifegate Tabernacle Ministry, Lagos, and vested encouragement from my childhood (Toddler) friend Dr Olalekan Ajayi
I invested and taught myself video editing, music production and content creation and established JITA StudiosTrade Mark in 2017 in Lagos, and it became a registered company in , and .
Through hard work and a burning desire to succeed, I was mentored by media experts like Tope Lawanson, Rosemary Oyere Yaduat Osadi Femi Otta, Lanre Oliyide, Ayò CinemaN Olaleye, John Oguntuase, Asiwaju Ben Ope Johnson, Paul-Esupofo Oriade, Azeezat O SanniSho and ACEDRAM and developed mentees like Joseph Olabode ( Jossyvisuals , Chris Atom Chris Daniel photos and HOLY FACES Holyfaces ( Elekiti boys) etc.
I studied Broadcasting and Media Communications at the prestigious Herzing College Canada in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
I networked and learned from industry experts in Nigeria, the United States of America, and Canada, where I gained valuable experience. My vision was always clear—to return home and establish something meaningful for development.
After graduating, with support from friends like Bodunde Olayemi, Ilesanmi Ayodeji Oluwasolabomi, and unwavering determination, I founded JITA Studios, Ootunja —a recording studio, online radio station, and online TV platform.
The studio quickly became a hub for local talent, giving young artists a space to record music and share their stories with the world. The online radio and TV platforms allowed OAPs and content creators to broadcast the rich culture, and intellects of Ekiti and Africa to a global audience.
JITA Studios grew beyond my wildest dreams, becoming known for not only promoting local content but also creating opportunities for the youths, Traditional Rulers and opinion leaders across the World from Ootunja.
Today, I share my story with you, as an inspiration, proving that with vision, hard work, and a heart for community, even a village boy can become a global citizen.
