Doings!
A Lamborghini fit for a president and now, a record-breaker.
A 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, once owned by Donald Trump, just hammered down for a jaw-dropping $1 million at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction, setting a new world record.
But this isn’t just another Diablo.
It’s the only 1997 model finished in Blu Le Mans , a one-off color specially ordered through Trump’s personal connection to Lamborghini at the time. Complete with a “Donald Trump 1997 Diablo” plaque, this V12 icon remained in his private collection until 2002.
While most Diablos of the era trade hands for far less, this sale ignited the auction floor — transforming a supercar into a piece of cultural and automotive history.
Presidential provenance. One-off spec. Record-setting legacy.
This isn’t just a car, it’s a statement.
