Yariba culture and tradition makes them docile and this is not attainable in the 21st century, this culture made it possible that Yariba villages are inhabitable bcos with such culture they don't remb home,this culture made it possible for them to sell their inheritance to strangers bcos the youths have no say and youths can't correct elders but they forget in Igbo adage a traveler is more educated and wiser than a local elder,even the unwise grow old..... I lived in Ibadan for over 18 years I had all my education there from primary to university but I never wish to marry Yariba bcos I understand the power I have as a true son of Okija u can't impose anything on me in Okija nooo we the Umunna will sit and debate about it using pass occurrences and history both youths and Elders will sit on it and take collective decisions.... I say no to cultures that promote one being docile and unproductive no wonder they easily fall for lies and propaganda.... I don't really have time for now....
