While riding my bicycle from Nigeria toward the United States, I met someone special on the road, his name is JASON.

He was riding from Australia down to South Africa. Somewhere along the journey, our paths crossed, and we connected instantly. We shared stories, laughed, encouraged each other, and talked about the ups and downs of life on the road. It was one of those moments that remind you how small and beautiful the world really is.

After I got to Mauritania, I had to return to Nigeria to process my papers and also take care of my health.

Then something unexpected happened, we met again here in Nigeria.

We reunited in Abuja, and now he’s on his way to Benue State, my home state.(He will be in makurdi today)

So I’m humbly asking everyone in Benue: if you see Jason, please show him love and kindness. He’s traveling alone and doesn’t have a support team behind him.

The same way many of you have supported me with food, shelter, encouragement, and care, I’m begging you to extend that same kindness to him.

Make him feel welcome.
Make him feel safe.
Let him experience the warmth of Benue.

Benue State, please show him who we are ❤️

Thank you so much.

It’s exactly 33 days today since I attended my Schengen Visa interview in Lagos, Nigeria. As many of you know, I returned to Nigeria a month ago, first to properly treat my health, and also to process my Schengen and USA visas before we begin Phase Two of this adventure. The plan was simple, pause, fix what needed fixing, and move forward stronger. 🙏

I’ve received many questions, “Why didn’t you arrange all this before starting the journey?” The honest truth is, I didn’t have the financial strength at the time. And I refused to let lack of money stop a dream that was bigger than me. That is why the journey was divided into phases.

Because of you, the online family that believed, supported, and invested, we even got this far. May God bless every single one of you.

Today I received my passport back from the Spanish Consulate, and my visa was denied. The reason, my journey was seen as risky and the conditions of stay not reliable. In simple words, my story was inspirational, but not administrative enough.I understand. And I take responsibility.

If you laugh at me at this point, you are not wrong. My only offence was starting before everything was perfectly structured. But I also believe dreams sometimes begin before paperwork catches up.

To the Spanish authorities, I respectfully ask for understanding. My journey is public, traceable, and verifiable across countries and borders. This is not disappearance, this is documentation of a life mission.

Now, I prepare for an appeal or a fresh application, and I pray the second attempt finds Favour. If you can support with recommendation letters, references, institutional backing, government, private, or personal, I humbly welcome it.

This is not the end. It is a correction point.
Sometimes the road pauses you, not to stop you, but to prepare you properly.

Phase Two will still happen.
We only adjust, we don’t abandon.
Thank you for standing with me, especially now. My heart is really heavy at the moment but I'll be alright 🙏😢

Together we Ride. Together we Rise.

Dinner is ready Family ❤️🙏.
For the first time after 6 months plus of being on the road , I've been allowed to enter the kitchen and prepare what I want to eat myself.
I'm glad for the quick recovery and what lies ahead of us. Thanks for all the support, family 🙏

CONGRATULATIONS FAMILY. 🏆❤️
I am deeply humbled to officially receive the Merit Award as the Africa Youth Ambassador, a recognition that truly touched my heart.

This honor speaks to resilience, to nights on the road, silent struggles, and the decision to keep going even when the body was tired and the path uncertain. It recognizes the voice I choose to use for the less privileged, orphans, IDPs, and vulnerable communities across Africa and beyond.

My sincere appreciation goes to the African Youth & Entrepreneurship Network and the entire organizing team. SSpecial appreciation to the organizer The Oheji Faith Okpe .
Thank you for seeing the work, the pain, and the purpose behind this journey.

I dedicate this award to my online family, the ones who believed when it didn’t make sense, who prayed when I was silent, and who stood with me through the hard days. This is our award.

This journey is far from over.
Phase Two is coming sooner than expected.
What lies ahead is deeper, heavier, and more meaningful.
Stay tuned, the story continues. ❤️🙏📌

Today I just want to take a moment to celebrate My MANAGER Oba Handler Not just because it’s your birthday, but because of how much you genuinely mean to me.

From the very beginning right from when the name Emmiwuks was just starting to find its place you were there. You didn’t wait for things to look perfect. You didn’t support from a distance. You stood by me, believed in me, and kept showing up, even when the journey wasn’t clear.

I honestly can’t explain how we went from being cool to becoming best friends… brothers… family. It just happened naturally. You became one of those people I know I can always count on. One of those people God placed in my life for a reason.

You’ve tried for me countless times, and that’s something I’ll never take lightly. In moments when I felt tired, confused, or low, you were there. When things were good, you celebrated me without envy. When things weren’t, you never walked away. That kind of loyalty is rare, and I don’t take it for granted.

I’m truly grateful to God for how far we’ve come and for every step of the journey. Life hasn’t always been easy, but through every high and every low, you stayed solid. You stayed real. You stayed you.

All I wish for you is nothing but the very best. May this new year bring you peace, growth, favor, and blessings you don’t even see coming. May everything you give to others come back to you in ways that overwhelm you with joy.

Thank you for being there. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for never giving up on me.❤️🙏

Happy birthday 🎂 my blood, my brother, my family. Oba Ogede God bless you always 🤍

CONGRATULATIONS TO US, FAMILY. 🏆❤️
Today, I received the BENUE AMBASSADOR Award from the IGEDE Carnival and I accept this honor with deep humility and pride.

This award is not just about a title, it is a recognition of resilience, sacrifice, and an unbreakable spirit. From riding across countries, sleeping on deserts, crossing borders on a bicycle, to carrying the name of Benue and Nigeria on my back, this journey has been about representing where I come from with dignity and courage.

I am Igede.
I am Benue.
I am Nigeria. 🇳🇬
I am Africa 🌍

Thank you to the Igede people for believing in me, for standing with me, and for honoring this great adventure. This recognition fuels me to go harder, push further, and keep telling our story to the world.
TO all my online family, this award is for us.

This journey continues, and I carry Benue with me wherever I go.

I had a successful interview at the Spanish Embassy and officially submitted my documents. Now, we wait, hopeful, prayerful, and trusting the process. 🙏
I’m believing God for a positive outcome as we look forward to the approval of our Schengen visa.

As promised, I’ll continue to carry you all along as we prepare for the next phase of this great adventure in the coming weeks.

Thank you, truly, for the love, prayers, and unwavering support. This journey has never been easy but you all g*t me.

I parked my little eagle with de best my Nigerian brother in Nouadhibou, Mauritania 🇲🇷 while I focus on my health and visa interviews here in Nigeria.

Whatever outcome the visas bring will decide the next route and the beginning of Phase 2 of this journey.
One thing, however, is already decided, the journey must continue.

Together we ride. Together we rise.

Good day family, and once again, Happy New Year. A few days ago, I returned to Nigeria, and honestly, it felt like the hospital was already waiting for me.

For the past few days, I’ve been admitted and receiving medical treatment. It hasn’t been easy, but I thank God I’m here and getting the care I need.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been checking up on me, calling, praying, and showing concern. My Lagos family, you really showed up for me, I’m deeply grateful.
I’m getting better gradually, and by God’s grace, I’ll be discharged soon.

As part of the next steps, I’ll be attending my visa interviews as we prepare for Phase Two of this great journey. A lot has been put in place behind the scenes, and I truly believe the next phase will be bigger, stronger, and better.
In the coming weeks, we’ll officially announce what’s next.

Special appreciation to my amazing online family, this journey would not be possible without you. Thank you for standing with me through the highs and the hard moments.

As I go about my activities here in Lagos, I’ll keep carrying you all along. First, let's go and barb my hair 😊😁. Thank you for the love ❤️
