As the Public Relations company for the official launch of Don FM 103.7 and Ikoro FM 93.3 , we are proud to have successfully rolled out what was truly a historic and culture-rich celebration in Umuahia, Abia State.

On Friday, June 27th, the quiet town of Umuawa Alaocha came alive as we unveiled not just one, but two powerful radio stations under the visionary leadership of the Chairman of Don Media Group, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe aka Don Lulu . From the planning and strategy to media coordination and event coverage, every element was carefully curated to reflect Don Lulu’s deep connection to his roots and commitment to community impact.

The day began with an official ribbon cutting ceremony surrounded by family, friends, dignitaries, and well wishers a moment that marked the birth of a new era in indigenous radio broadcasting. We paid homage to local culture through traditional performances and heartfelt tributes from the community, culminating in a symbolic cake cutting to commemorate the milestone.

The celebration continued into the night with a grand concert in honour of Don Lulu’s birthday, featuring electrifying performances from some of Nigeria’s biggest stars; Davido, Timaya, Kcee, Bright Chimezie, Zoro, Jeriq and Sabinus. Hosted by the ever-hilarious Funnybone, the evening was a powerful blend of music, unity, and gratitude exactly the kind of story we set out to tell.

It was an honour to handle the full PR for this groundbreaking event, one that not only celebrated media advancement in Abia but also amplified the enduring legacy of a man dedicated to progress.

OnoBello Media handled PR and Event Management for the 2018 Online Publishers Association of Nigeria (OPAN) Annual New Media Conference ( ) on February 6, 2018.

OPAN is Nigeria’s premier association of digital/new media publishers and entrepreneurs. The maiden Annual New Media Conference took place at The Wheatbaker hotel in Ikoyi-Lagos.

OnoBello Media handled the approval and invitation of all Panelists and Moderators, RSVP Management of invited Social Media Influencers, Media Personalities and Media Houses, Media Partnership and Sponsorships, Event Budget, Social Media Coverage as well as all the Pre and Post Event Coverage by top Print and Digital Media establishments in the country.

The one-day interactive conference gathered together New Media practitioners – Publishers, Bloggers, PR Consultants and Social Media Influencers for the first time, who engaged in discussions on the conference’s theme “New Media As Future of the Fourth Estate”.

Hon.
