NRTC initially commenced sharing posts on current news emanating from Nigeria, mainly to a audience comprising of Nigerians at home and in diaspora.

On the 8th of June, 2020. The name Nigeria Round the Clock was changed to News Round The Clock as part of NRTC‘s growth strategy to reach a wider audience as well as expand it’s coverage.
