A JOURNEY THAT SHOULD TAKE 8 HOURS NOW TAKES ALMOST 2 DAYS!
Peter Obi says he left someone in Onitsha on Saturday night to take a bus to Lagos on Sunday morning. By 8pm Sunday, the person had still not arrived. He finally got to Lagos around 2pm Monday.
This is bigger than bad roads.
It means lost working hours, stranded passengers, wasted fuel, damaged vehicles, delayed goods, and businesses losing millions of naira.
Nigerians need roads that work—not just new projects that make headlines.
Should government focus more on fixing and maintaining existing infrastructure before starting new projects?
