📹 Video: Wanted Unknown Gunman Says ₦5m Bounty Too Small
A shocking video has appeared online showing one of the unknown gunmen declared wanted by some people — Ijele, Ikéngà Uruagu, and Kesho Orsu TV.
In the video, the unknown gunman mocked the ₦5 million bounty placed on his head, saying it was too small for anyone to risk their life to catch him. He insisted the bounty should be raised to at least ₦30 million or even ₦100 million.
In retaliation, he placed his own ₦10 million bounty on Kesho Orsu TV, Ijele Speaks, and Ikéngà Uruagu, accusing them of abandoning their ancestral homes to live in Abuja, South Africa, and other places. He vowed to reward anyone who can give him information leading to their capture.
The video has sparked reactions online. While some people advised him to surrender for peace talks, others warned that if he is eventually killed, many will start complaining that unknown gunmen from the East are being eliminated, while those from the North are being invited for negotiations with the government. That the reality is that unknown gunmen in the East have refused to surrender or negotiate with government, unlike their counterparts in the North.
What do you think about this video?
Do you agree that ₦5 million is “too small” for a bounty?
Should they increase the bounty or open peace talks with them?
Or should security forces continue with full force?
