📹 Video: Wanted Unknown Gunman Says ₦5m Bounty Too Small

A shocking video has appeared online showing one of the unknown gunmen declared wanted by some people — Ijele, Ikéngà Uruagu, and Kesho Orsu TV.

In the video, the unknown gunman mocked the ₦5 million bounty placed on his head, saying it was too small for anyone to risk their life to catch him. He insisted the bounty should be raised to at least ₦30 million or even ₦100 million.

In retaliation, he placed his own ₦10 million bounty on Kesho Orsu TV, Ijele Speaks, and Ikéngà Uruagu, accusing them of abandoning their ancestral homes to live in Abuja, South Africa, and other places. He vowed to reward anyone who can give him information leading to their capture.

The video has sparked reactions online. While some people advised him to surrender for peace talks, others warned that if he is eventually killed, many will start complaining that unknown gunmen from the East are being eliminated, while those from the North are being invited for negotiations with the government. That the reality is that unknown gunmen in the East have refused to surrender or negotiate with government, unlike their counterparts in the North.

What do you think about this video?
Do you agree that ₦5 million is “too small” for a bounty?
Should they increase the bounty or open peace talks with them?
Or should security forces continue with full force?

2023 Was A Mistake, South East No More Obidient, We Are For Tinubu And Nwifuru - Umahi Declares

Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has declared that the South-East, particularly Ebonyi State, will throw its weight behind President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, dismissing the influence of the Peter Obi-led OBIdient Movement in the region.

This comes amid the growing popularity of Peter Obi in Nigeria’s political landscape, especially among young people.

Speaking on Saturday during the Ohanivo 2025 New Yam Festival in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi, Umahi insisted that the South-East is no longer aligned with the OBIdient Movement, citing years of political marginalisation as a turning point in the region’s political allegiance.

“We are not OBIdient people. We have been so marginalised that we are no longer OBIdient. No, we are not.

“But it is the man that has given us a sense of belonging, President Bola Tinubu. Let it not be that we are from Ebonyi State and they are saying this state belongs to us. There is no OBIdient person in Ebonyi,” Umahi said.

Prison Officials Foils Attempt To Smuggle Drugs Into Kuje Prison

The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has foiled an attempt to smuggle illicit substances into the Kuje Custodial Centre in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In a statement on Monday, spokesperson of the FCT Command, Samson Duza, said the incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday during a routine search.

Duza identified the suspect as Njimogu Ikedi, who allegedly concealed substances believed to be cannabis sativa and other psychoactive drugs in his clothes while attempting to visit an inmate.

The FCT Command’s spokesperson said the Controller of Corrections in the FCT, Christopher Jen, immediately ordered the arrest of the suspect and has since been handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for investigation and prosecution.

Jen cautioned visitors with ulterior motives to avoid the facility, stressing that vigilant officers would continue to expose such acts.

He also urged the public to support the Service’s efforts in reforming and rehabilitating offenders for public safety.

This latest interception came over a year after a woman was arrested for attempting to sneak similar substances into the same facility, disguising herself as a visitor and concealing the drugs in food packs.

"I have known only one man. I married Soludo a virgin" Anambra First Lady, Nonye Soludo threatens to sue Ekwunife over infidelity claims.

Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor, has demanded that former senator and deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Uche Ekwunife, retracts the statement she made accusing her of infidelity.

Mrs Soludo issued a 72-hour ultimatum to Ekwunife, while also demanding that she offers a public apology.

According to Guardian, in a statement released on Saturday, September 14, Mrs Soludo described the allegations made by Mrs Ekwunife as “wilful and malicious” and warned that legal action would follow if they were not withdrawn.

“My lawyers have also been put on notice,” she said. “I will still as a Christian give Uche a chance to repent and ensure restitution by recanting her wilful and malicious allegations within 72 hours and tendering an unreserved apology. Take note Uche that if you fail to do so, I will take every step necessary to ensure justice and restitution.”

The dispute stems from a viral video in which Mrs Ekwunife alleged that Mrs Soludo had an affair with former Anambra governor, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, during his administration, and suggested that the paternity of her children was in question.

The remarks came in response to Governor Charles Soludo’s earlier criticism of Mrs Ekwunife’s academic qualifications, particularly her claim to a doctorate degree.

Mrs Soludo denied the allegations, insisting she had never met the late Governor Mbadinuju.

“In my 55 years on planet earth, I have known only one man, Chukwuma Soludo. I married him as a virgin and my fidelity to him in 33 years of marriage and for life is ironclad,” she stated.

She further challenged Mrs Ekwunife to take an oath of fidelity before the Catholic Church’s Blessed Sacrament and proposed DNA tests for both families to be conducted in three hospitals in London, pledging to cover all costs.

“I will swear with my children that in my 55 years on earth, I have known only one man—Chukwuma Soludo. On your part, you should also swear with your children.

Otti Bans Nursery & Lower Primary Graduation Ceremonies, Prohibits School Switching in SS2
..Text Books Now Reusable

The Abia State Government has rolled out new education policies aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and strengthening standards across schools.

Briefing journalists after this week’s Executive Council meeting chaired by Governor Alex Otti in Umuahia, the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, announced that graduation ceremonies will now be restricted to only terminal classes—Primary 6 and SS3—in both public and private schools.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Goodluck Ubochi, explained that it was unnecessary for nursery and lower-class pupils to hold graduation ceremonies that compel parents to spend heavily.

Another major decision is the separation of textbooks from workbooks. According to Ubochi, this will enable younger siblings to reuse textbooks while workbooks remain unique to each child.

The government also directed parents to ensure they collect their children’s First School Leaving Certificates (FSLC), lamenting that many are often abandoned. To tackle this, schools have been instructed not to charge more than ₦2,000 for Primary 6 certificates.

In addition, the state has made it compulsory for candidates enrolling for WAEC, NECO, or JAMB to present their FSLC. No student will be admitted into SS3 without passing a state-organized mandatory promotion exam in SS2.

Ubochi further stressed that all schools—public and private—must participate in the promotion exam, while switching schools between SS2 and SS3 will no longer be permitted. This move, he said, is aimed at curbing examination malpractice and strengthening accountability.

“These measures are designed to reduce financial pressure on parents, promote accountability, and ensure integrity in the education system,” Ubochi stated.

“Pastor Lazarus made me leave my good husband” – Former Chosen member Cries Out

‎Former Lord’s Chosen member, Ada Adiiche, has once again taken to social media to call out the founder of the church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, accusing him of being the reason her marriage collapsed.

‎Ada, who has consistently criticised the church’s teachings, claimed that Pastor Lazarus’ doctrines forced her to walk away from her union despite having a peaceful home.

‎According to her, the preacher emphasised that women married into polygamous homes would not make heaven, insisting that second, third, or fourth wives had no husbands in God’s sight.

‎“You’re a second, third, or fourth wife, you have no husband; pack your load and go. You married three or two, remove the second and third one until death do you part with the first wife,” Pastor Lazarus said in his preaching.

‎She recounted how those words, alongside advice from a senior pastor who told her it was the right step, compelled her to leave her husband even though he never abǔsed or wronged her.

‎“My husband was a good man. He never laid his hands on me or treated me badly. But because of Pastor Lazarus’ preaching, I packed my things and left. I even consulted a senior pastor who told me it was the right thing to do, assuring me that God would provide another husband,” she said.

‎Ada further condemned other pastors within the same church who, despite knowing her circumstances, still visit her comment section to pressure her into remarrying.

‎She emphasised that she would reveal more details about the circumstances that led her to abandon the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival church and the “reality that hit” her decision.
