MEET OUR GUEST:

Halimot Oluwanishola Raji (a.k.a Queen of Sustainability) is an Award-winning, passionate Environmental Biologist and Sustainability Professional, dedicated to bridging the gap between Environmental stewardship, Wellness, and Community Development across Africa.

Holding a background in Environmental Biology and pursuing a Master's in Environmental Sustainability and Policy, she brings a cross-sector perspective to tackling climate change, waste, and public health challenges.

Her experience spans Circular Economy programs, Waste-to-Value systems, Climate Action Education, Environmental Monitoring, Policy Research, Advocacy and Compliance, with contributions across government agencies, private sector organizations, MSMEs, and youth platforms.

She has led impactful projects under the Office of the SA to the Lagos State Governor on Climate Change & Circular Economy, and as Environmental Sustainability Manager at TrashUsers Services, Environmental Advocate at LAWMA Academy, Sustainability Manager at Brahamot Universal Limited, and currently serves as the Founder and Lead Consultant at Brahamot Global Enterprise.

She is a dynamic Speaker, Educator, and the Convener of the Green Awareness Initiative that has reached over 6000 students and individuals at correctional centres and the Clothe A Child Drive Initiative, a drive that has clothed over 3000 kids and adults in underserved locations in Nigeria.

Halimot delivers sessions on Sustainable Living, Waste Management, Climate Awareness, and Sustainable Business development at institutions, Corporate events, and Sustainability fora.

Abimbola Gbenjo is contributing to the growing movement shaping Africa’s ESG and sustainable development landscape.

A sustainability and ESG professional with an interdisciplinary background, Gbenjo currently contributes to the work of Independent Project Monitoring Company (IPMC) Limited, where he has been actively involved in advancing conversations around ESG performance, sustainability intelligence, climate risk and responsible investment.

Through his work and thought leadership, he advocates for organisations to move beyond ESG statements and disclosures to building measurable systems that strengthen resilience, manage risk and create long-term value.

His interests span ESG reporting, climate finance, green investment, sustainable development and climate governance, with a particular focus on how credible data can influence better corporate and investment decisions.
