SPEAK YOUR FAITH.

One of the things you will hardly find me doing when confronted with challenges is complaining.

Many christians dignify their negative situations too much, they even attempt to own them.

I mean, they say, 'My barreness, my ulcer, my headache e.t.c.

Beloved, challenges are not yours because the word of God says, 'Let the weak say, I am strong'-JOEL 3:10.

One thing that was constant at creation, was the word of God. In faith, God put His word to action.

Hebrews 11:3 says, 'Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God'

As christians, your part in changing the seemingly hopeless situation to positive is living holy and speaking the word of God to every negative situations in your life.

So I join my faith with yours and decree, 'that problem in your life ends today in Jesus name'.

PSALMS 50:15 says, 'Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee.

In the mighty name of Jesus, every negative situations in your life, shall turn around for good for you.

Brethren, always engage the word of Faith in whatever situation you find yourself, believing in whatever you ask of the Lord, He will give it to you.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive- MATTHEW 21:22.

CONCLUSION
Brethren, speak the word of God positively to your situation with faith and see your life turn around for the better.

SAVED BY GRACE

ROMANS 9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

I used to have a friend who calls himself an achiever.

You dare not introduce or call him without his academic initials.

So every time, you call him, you say, 'Most revered Dr Malachi John PDP, APC, LP, HIV, AIDs, e.t.c'.(Original name withheld).

Again, I once met a so-called pastor, who was so boastful. I mean, on one occasion, I asked him, if God had made him a cockroach, what would he do?. He said God needed him to complete the gospel that was why God sought him out.

Romans 9:21 says, 'Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

The difference between King Saul and King David was their failure and ability to recognise the grace of God upon their lives- 1 SAM 15:13-31, 1 CHRO 17:16.

Brethren, you did not create yourself neither did you do anything for God to have shown you mercy.

Remember the Bible says, 'As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated'- ROM 9:13.

If you read that Bible passage carefully, you will discover both children did not do anything either to be loved or hated by God. It was grace speaking.

In the mighty name of Jesus, from now on, grace will speak for you and your children in high places.

CONCLUSION: 'But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth'- DEUT 8:18. So acknowledge the grace of God upon your life.

MAY GOD DELIVER YOU.

THE GREATEST DELIVERER

PSALMS 18:2
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Long time ago, I was deep into an addiction. I tried all I could to get out of it but could not.

Within me, I knew the addiction would not make me fulfill my destiny. And true to it, I was held back for almost twenty-five years of my life.

Until one day, I got a brainwave. I wept bitterly to God, 'If you won't help me to get out of this addiction, if you won't help me fulfill what you destined me for, then kill me'.

Even though I was foolish to have challenged God, but the Almighty God knew my heart yearned for Him, and that I wasn't asking for death literarily.

A week after that encounter with God, I noticed I had not engaged in the addiction, and till date, i have not engaged in it.

Though the devil has tried to lure me into the addiction severally but it has always failed.

I pray for you, the Almighty God that delivered me, shall deliver you too in Jesus name.

My Father-in-the-Lord (Pastor E.A.Adeboye), once shared a testimony.

God said through him, that there was a lady in the congregation who was due for marriage long ago.

But the mother was delaying her from marrying, and that if the mother did not release her to marry, within seven days, the mother would die.

The following day, a lady came with her mother to see my Father-in-the-Lord.

The mother asked, 'Are you the Pastor that said, I am the one behind my daughter not being able to marry?'.

Pastor Adeboye said, 'No, I never pointed at her o neither mentioned anybody's name but God said, 'There was a lady in that program whose mother would not release for marriage, that the lady's mother would die within seven if she did not repent'.

The woman looked at her daughter and said, 'Ehhmm, please excuse us, I want to talk your Pastor.

The mother turned to Pastor Adeboye and said, 'Eeehhnn, it is not as if I don't want my daughter to marry but she has been the only one taking care of me, if she marries now, who will be taking care of me?'

Pastor Adeboye then said, 'That is no problem Mama, we will talk to her to make it a priority to be taking care of you'.

Within six months, the lady got married and got pregnant.

Isaiah 49:26 says, 'I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh'. May the Almighty God feed your enemies with their flesh and may they drink their own blood in Jesus name.

If you read the stories of Mordecai- ESTHER Chapters 3-7, Daniel- DANIEL 6:1-24, Shadrach, Meshac and Abednego- DANIEL 3:1-30, you will understand that Jesus is the greatest DELIVERER.

CONCLUSION
Brethren, do not be deceived, there is no salvation or safety anywhere else except in Jesus- ACTS 4:12.

John 14:6 says, 'Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me'.

Proverbs 18:10 says, 'The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe'.

The question then is, 'Are you righteous, are you living a holy life, have you surrendered your life totally to Jesus.

Because Jesus can only safe those that have identified with him so that in their time of crisis, He may safe them.

I trust that you are wise and that you will surrender your life to Jesus today.

THE OLD RUGGED CROSS

2 TIMOTHY 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

There are different versions of Christianity these days. Nowadays, people just do with and do away with whatever pleases them in the Bible; they forget 2 TIM 3:16- 'All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:'

And never care about DEUT 4:2- 'Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you'.

REV 22:18-19-
[18]For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
[19]And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book'.

These days, some so-called christians try to water-down some biblical principles on Tithing, Divorce, Rapture and Heaven.

Brethren, do not be deceived by the diverse doctrines of this age- HEB 13:9, Jesus Christ is the same forever- HEB 13:8. The word of God is forever settled- PS 119:89.

God is not a respecter of persons- ROM 2:11. He does/can not lower His standard to accommodate anyone- 2 TIM 2:19.

You are either for God or His enemy- JAM 4:4.
Listen, heaven and earth shall pass away, but the word of God shall not pass away- MATT 24:35.

CONCLUSION:
Dear friend, I implore you, to choose life and good today- DEUT 30-15, by clinging to the OLD RUGGED CROSS and obeying God totally in all that you do.

And as you obey God totally, there are blessings attached to your obedience.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2
[1]And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
[2]And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

PRAYER
1) Lord Jesus, thank you for the grace to know you.
2) My Lord, please forgive me for being carried away by divers doctrines- HEB 13:9.
3) Father, please help me to be able to boldly declare; PHIL 3:10.
4) Father, as I obey you completely, let your blessings be evident in my life in Jesus name

YOU TOO CAN BE FEARLESS

LUKE 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

When I was much more younger, i engaged in menial jobs to survive.

So, I joined bricklayers on a building site.

While I was serving the bricklayers mixed cement, I felt the urge to poo.

I dashed into the already cut down bush beside the site.

As I settled down to plant my poo, I saw a snake slithering slowly pass where I squatted.

It was that day I knew one could disappear and reappear without any spiritual force.

Because it was after I had gotten out with poo all over my body that i remembered I had flung my trouser into the bush

That day, I understood when Yoruba says, 'When a child claims to be fearless, it means he has not seen what is fearful'

All that happened, when I was not born again. But thank God for Jesus because today, even the chiefest of devils bow when I mention the name of Jesus.

Other time, I went to see my mum, and my mum decided to join me back to Lagos.

On our way back to Lagos, our vehicle was involved in an accident.

As the vehicle was zigzagging the express and everybody were shouting, I heard God told me, 'the vehicle would stop safely and we will all be unhurt, but I should rebuke the devil'.

I did as God told me, and almost immediately, the driver got back control of the vehicle till it stopped.

When we got down, my mum asked why I was laughing at all of them while the vehicle was zigzagging the road.

I told her what God had told me. She said, I should have calmed her down too.

Listen Brethren, you too can be fearless because if your life is rooted in Christ then you have nothing to fear.

So I implore you Friends, surrender your life to Jesus today, let Him take charge of your life.
Stop dilly-dallying with Him.

And as you do so, all things will work together for your good- ROM 8:28, and may you receive power to tread upon serpents and scorpions- LUK 10:19, to wrestle against principalities and powers of darkness- EPH 6:12, and nothing shall by an means hurt you in Jesus name.

CONCLUSION: 2 TIMOTHY 1:7- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

But rather, PHILIPPIANS 2:10- That at the name of Jesus name, every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

PRAYER
1) Lord Jesus please, banish fear from my life in Jesus name.
2) Father please help me fear you instead of the devil and the world in Jesus name.
3) Father please strengthen my faith in you in place of fear of the devil and the world in Jesus name.

COMMUNING WITH GOD

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

When I was younger in the christian faith, I and few of my friends were always looking forward to the holy communion.

We were not looking forward to the communion, because we wanted the infilling of the Holyspirit, but because the bread they served then was quite bulky and the wine was rich.

Oh! how childish we were. I mean who drinks and eats something that is capable of either making or marring him/her greedily. But thank God for His mercy.

But as I grew older in the faith, I have seen people who partook of that communion worthily testifying to the efficacy of it. And I have seen people who felt it was just a soft drink and bread, been destroyed, either instantly or gradually.

On one occasion, a particular man whom everybody knew was an unrepentant wife be**er, beat his wife to stupor that day and thought to himself, he would take the communion as usual, and nothing will happen. The bread became pins in his stomach immediately he swallowed it.

Beloved, the holy communion is not a meal intrinsically, because it becomes the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ the moment it is blessed by the pastor. It is a meal to partake in with utmost sobriety and a clean body and soul.

Now, no responsible child toys with his/her father's memorial. How much more the flesh and blood of Jesus.

You know these days, a lot of christian rite have been washed down by the so-called new generation or grace-filled churches.

I mean they claim to be liberal and that nothing matters except your heart but I sometimes tell them, it is what is in your heart that reflects out.
Or what does MATT 12:33-35, LUKE 6:45 say?.

CONCLUSION:
Brethren, Galatians 6:7 says, 'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap'.

When the President calls you to a dinner, you can not go there just in any cloth. Some of us would even start preparing a week before the dinner, how much more dinning with the One that created the President.

PRAYER
1) Please Lord forgive me for dinning with you worthily these while in Jesus name.
2) Please Lord Jesus, help me to live worthy of your name in Jesus name- 2 TIM 2-19.
3) Father, please as I commune with you, fill me up with your spirit that I may do good in Jesus name- ACTS 10:38.

WHEN YOUR FAITH FAILS

Luke 17:5
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

There are times when no matter how strong your faith is in God, it fails.

I mean when faced with seemingly hopeless situation. When even your pastor becomes faithless in your case.

Pastor Isaac Omolehin once shared a testimony. Prophet T.O.Obadare told him to represent him at a ministration for two days in the U.S.A.

On the first day he was to minister, the whole congregation was the himself, host pastor and a lady of African descent, Josephine by name.

As he was ministering, the lady kept shouting 'Amen' at intervals. So he wondered what was happening to the lady but couldn't figure it out.

As the service was closing, the host pastor asked if they could still continue the program the following day as the people did not come.

He answered, 'if Josephine comes the next day, then he would still minister.

So the host pastor asked Josephine if she would come the second day. Josephine said she wasn't sure but she would like to come.

Josephine had prayed about it but all along doubted if there was anything God could do about it but was inspired to come for the program.

On the program second day, Josephine came and he ministered.

After the service, he asked Josephine why she said she was not sure she would be in church the second day.

Josephine said before the program, she was having an immigration case and was due for deportation.

She said she was sure she was going to be deported because her immigration lawyer had told her, he had tried his best.

At the court, after the lawyer and the prosecuting counsel had presented their case before the judge.

The judge turned to the lady and asked if she had anything to say. The lady said she knew she was due for deportation but the judge should have mercy on her.

That she has an aged mother back in Africa whom she is the only one taking care of her. That if she was deported, the aged mother would die.

While Josephine was talking, the judge faced down. When Josephine was done, the judge turned to her lawyer and said, 'there is a clause in the American immigration law that would grant Josephine a grace period to put her case together and represent it before the immigration office, go explore it.

That was how Josephine continued to stay in America legally.

Human beings are like Josephine, sometime despite what we have seen God done, we doubt the potency and efficiency of the power of God.

All through the Bible, there are seemingly hopeless situations that God barring the faithlessness of the person, turned the situation around.

I am not mincing words, every seemingly hopeless situations in your life, the Lord not minding your faithlessness shall turn things around for you in Jesus name.

CONCLUSION: No matter how hopeless your situation may be, never for a moment disobey God or look elsewhere for solution. And as you obey God to the latter, He will step in to boost your faith and help your unbelief.

PRAYER
