At leastโ€ฆ youโ€™re still alive.โ€

Sometimes that doesnโ€™t feel like comfort.
Sometimes it feels like pressure.

But what if survival is not weakness?
What if staying is strength?

If I didnโ€™t give up yesterdayโ€ฆ
Maybe that means something.

This short film is for anyone who is tired of โ€œbeing strong.โ€
For anyone barely holding it together.
For anyone who needs a reminder that breathing is not small โ€” it is powerful.

Where thereโ€™s lifeโ€ฆ thereโ€™s hope. ๐Ÿค

Tag someone who needs this.
Save it for the days you forget.

Never ever look down on people.
Table might turn, the person you snubbed today might be the one to pull you up..

Things That Are Okay

Sometimes you will be happy.
Sometimes you will be sad โ€” and thatโ€™s okay.

Sometimes youโ€™ll get tired of waking up going through different phases of life again and again
โ€” thatโ€™s okay.

Sometimes you wonโ€™t receive the very thing youโ€™ve been praying so hard for,
and even thenโ€ฆ thatโ€™s okay. You just have to keep on putting on the work and hoping ,praying

Sometimes youโ€™ll have to deal with loneliness,
learning how to keep yourself company โ€” and thatโ€™s okay.

The Blessings We Overlook

There are certain blessings we often overlook and underestimate. Most times, we donโ€™t truly appreciate them until theyโ€™re gone.

If you still have a mum who calls you several times just to check on you โ€” sometimes as if youโ€™re still her baby, even though youโ€™re now a full-grown man or woman โ€” thatโ€™s a blessing.

If you still have a dad who guides you through the storms of life, who gives you clarity whenever youโ€™re confused โ€” thatโ€™s a blessing.

If you still have siblings, older or younger,
who disturb you with calls all the time just to check on you, to advise you, to make small, subtle requests โ€” I swear, thatโ€™s a blessing.

If you still have friends who make you smile and laugh, who show up for you regardless,
people you can confide in when youโ€™re going through a lot โ€”I swear, thatโ€™s a blessing.

If you still have people you can truly call family, your blood, people you know will always come through for you โ€” thatโ€™s a big blessing.

If you have good health, you donโ€™t fall sick all the time โ€” man, I swear, thatโ€™s a huge blessing.

If you have a wife or a husband who is kind to you,
who understands you and stands by you โ€”
thatโ€™s one of the biggest blessings of all.

The list goes on and on. Please donโ€™t take these things for granted. Learn to appreciate these gifts while theyโ€™re still here. Because I swear, when you really think about it, these are some of the greatest blessings you can ever have.

Confidence is the real currency when youโ€™re not born into wealth.
It opens doors, earns respect, and puts your name in rooms you werenโ€™t invited to.
Build it. Carry it. Use it.

During AFCON, while many watched the players, one man stood stillโ€”
not for football, but for history.

A DR Congo supporter paid tribute to Patrice Lumumba, the first Prime Minister of Congo and one of Africaโ€™s boldest voices against colonialism.
His courage inspired a continent.
His assassination reminds us how dangerous freedom can be.

This moment is a call to remember our past, question our present, and protect Africaโ€™s future.
Because liberation didnโ€™t endโ€”it only changed form.

๐Ÿ“Œ Never forget those who paid the ultimate price for Africa.

The gift of hope

There is a popular Yoruba saying: โ€œแบธni tรญ kรฒ tรญรฌ kรบ, แนฃรฌ nรญ รฌrรจtรญ,โ€ which means โ€œas long as a person is alive, there is still hope.โ€

This witty saying emphasizes the true importance of hope. Hope is what keeps us going. Hope is what wakes us up every single day. It is what gives us the strength to live for tomorrow.

Hope tells us that one dayโ€”maybe soonโ€”we will get what we wish for. That we will become who we have always aspired to be. That the things we have long desired will eventually find their way to us.

Hope reminds us that after crying, we will laugh again. That after seasons of lack, we will one day afford the things we once prayed for. It goes on and on.

Hope is what keeps us alive. The moment we lose hope, we become living deadโ€”breathing, yet tired of living. Waiting, not for life, but for death.

Without hope, we lose the strength to keep pushing. Without hope, our drive fades. And without hope, the light within us slowly goes out. So as long as you are still breathing, as long as your heart is still beating,
remember thisโ€”
