DON’T GO BACK~ Let Me Explain Why You Still Miss A Relationship That Broke You

Some of us have been in situations where we had to return to a toxic relationship we left. We had to return to the relationship because of how badly we miss them. And the sad reality is that, we finally leave in a worse state than before.

Missing someone doesn’t always mean you should go back. It means you have unprocessed emotions.

Just because you love them doesn’t mean they were good for you. Don’t let your emotions confuse you.

You miss them because of trauma bonds & emotional addiction. You miss the idea of them, not the reality. When you are in a relationship with someone who you are emotionally attracted to, the body stores emotional memory, not just the heart.

To save yourself, do this 👇

1. Acknowledge what you’re really missing (e.g., attention, routine, identity and most at times money): It’s okay to acknowledge this. Tell yourself the truth that you miss these.

2. Journal the truth of the relationship (not the fantasy): Write out the reality of the relationship. The things that are truly odd. The things that hurt you and are unacceptable. Don’t write only the sweet things. Be true to yourself.

3. Allow your mind to work. You left for a reason. Deepen yourself into that reason. See the consequences that comes with sticking to that person. Let the reason not to go back be stronger than your emotions.

Finally, take time to miss them, but don’t move backwards. Peace will come. And when it does, you’ll realize your soul missed you more than them.

It’s only a matter of time. You will be fine👌

A week later, the old man came by and said, “My dear, I sold you the land but not the shade from that big mango tree standing there. If you want your customers to enjoy the shade, you’ll have to pay me extra every month.”

The woman smiled sweetly and said, “Oh, thank you for reminding me, In that case, please come every morning to collect your shade ,because starting tomorrow, I’ll be charging rent for your tree’s roots using my soil.”🤣🤣🤣

The old man laughed awkwardly and said , Oh no, I was just checking if you’re smart enough for business.
