Leicester City Agree €9.5 Million Deal With Besiktas For Wilfred Ndidi

Leicester City have reached an agreement with Turkish side Besiktas for the transfer of Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in a deal reportedly worth €9.5 million.

The move brings an end to Besiktas’s lengthy pursuit of Wilfred Ndidi, 27, whose contract with Leicester is set to expire next year.

The Turkish club had earlier submitted a €7 million bid, which was rejected by the Championship side. However, negotiations progressed, and the two clubs have now settled on a fee.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Besiktas have also agreed personal terms with Ndidi, beating off competition from several English and European clubs, including Turkish rivals Fenerbahce.
