The voice that echoes across the horizons, reaching the north, south, east, and west—that is the Adhān (Call to Prayer).
At its proclamation, Shayṭān (the devil) flees in terror, unable to bear its powerful message. Its beautiful melody soothes the soul, heals the heart, and fills the believers with peace, reminding them of their Creator and calling them to success in this life and the next.

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Alhamdulillah, all praise belongs to Allah (SWT) who granted us the opportunity to witness another blessed Eid-il-Adha and the sacred days of Dhul Hijjah.

As we celebrate this season of sacrifice, obedience, and gratitude, may Allah accept our prayers, fasting, charity, sacrifices, and all acts of worship. May He fill our homes with peace, our hearts with contentment, and our lives with barakah.

May Allah grant us the sincerity, obedience, and steadfastness exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Isma'il (AS), and make us among those who submit sincerely to Him in all affairs.

May this Eid bring joy to every family, ease to every difficulty, and countless blessings to us all.

This is to inform all members of the Igala Muslim Community, Lagos (also known as Qala Llahu Qala Rasool) and general public that the Eid-ul-Adha prayer for this year will be observed on Wednesday, 27th May 2026 at Wowo Primary School, Olodi Apapa by 9:10 AM prompt.

Kindly note that there will be no African time. We humbly encourage everyone to arrive early and be seated before the commencement of the prayer.

The Honourable Member who represented Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency in the 9th Assembly, Hon. Kolawole Taiwo, paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Garkuwan Lagos/Sarkin Bai, Jahar Yamma 17 SSN, where he formally declared his intention to contest for a second term in the upcoming general elections.

Dignitaries present at the event included the Onu Igala of Ajeromi, HRH Suleiman Yunusa; the Ajia of Kanuri, Alhaji Muhammad Kofa; the Zanna of Kanuri, Abubakar Muhammad; Chief Seidu Okaku; Gago Suleiman; the Madaki, and representative of the Etsu Nupe; Chief Imam Hamza Suleiman; Chief Imam Bashir Goni; as well as women leaders, youth leaders, and representatives of various community groups.

Missionary Work: Since his conversion, he has focused on outreach specifically toward other Christian clergy and religious figures.

Reputation: In some circles, he has been referred to as a modern-day "Mus'ab bin Umayr," a reference to a notable early companion of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Sheikh Abubakar Sadiq Muhammad Advises Muslims on Eid.

Sheikh Abubakar Sadiq Muhammad has called on Muslims to uphold unity and promote peaceful co-existence within the Ummah during the Eid celebration.

He urged the youth to shun all forms of social vices and embrace righteousness and responsibility. He also encouraged Muslims to actively participate in governance and civic affairs for the betterment of society.
Speaking further, he addressed the situation in Iran, calling for prayers, awareness, and collective concern for the Muslim Ummah globally.

He concluded by encouraging Muslims to sustain the spiritual gains of Ramadan by observing the six days of fasting in the month of Shawwal.

Eid al-Fitr: Kogi Progressive Youth Movement President Felicitates with Muslims.

The President of the Kogi Progressive Youth Movement, Abdulwahab Ibn Sheikh Zakariyau, has extended his warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, he congratulated the Muslim Ummah for the spiritual discipline, devotion, and sacrifices observed during Ramadan. He urged Muslims to sustain the virtues of piety, patience, generosity, and unity imbibed during the holy month.

According to him, Eid is not only a time of celebration but also a period for reflection, compassion, and strengthening bonds within communities.

He further called on citizens to continue promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, while praying for enduring peace, stability, and prosperity in Nigeria and the world at large.
