There’s a lesson here that hits harder than any headline.
For years, 50 Cent was reportedly paying around $40,000 a month to support his son’s mother close to half a million a year. A lifestyle most people would never touch. But instead of protecting the deal, she pushed for more and took it to court, believing the system would force a bigger payout.
It backfired.
The judge didn’t increase it. He cut it down to the legal minimum about $6,700 a month. Overnight, a guaranteed luxury setup turned into under $90k a year. Same child. Same father. Very different outcome.
The takeaway is cold but real:
Sometimes reaching for more makes you lose what you already had.
Gratitude keeps you in the game. Greed gets the rules re-written.

Hmmm😭😭....l remember when my husband wanted to get married to me, but because l already had one child as a Single Mother and l was an Actress then,
His friends and some family members kicked against it, they were like does he know the rúbbísh & dirty things l already did with my life that resulted to me been a Single Mother😭
On our engagement day all his friends refused coming with him to our house because they don't want him to get marry to me, infact the owner of the car he already pleaded with to bring him and all what my family members requested from him as Engagement items disapp0int£d him,
My husband had to go and rent Lagos state Danfo bus to bring Yam and other Engagement items to our house and he was the only one that prostrated to ask my hand in Marriage before my parents, my younger brother later joined him
It was later when we were almost done his family members started showing face .
My Husband just insisted he must get married to me not minding the opinion of friends and relatives
