Raphinha impressive performance has caught the attention of Al Hilal, the Saudi Pro league giant are preparing to offer Barcelona a 100M euros to sign Raphinha. They are willing to offer him a 4year contract worth 200M euros [50M euros per annum] to tempt him away from Barcelona this summer.

It is when you think you are super intelligent and you can't make mistakes that you start making them. Pride they said goes before the fall.

Real Madrid success has gotten into their heads, they now believe so much in themselves that they feel winning is their birthright. They feel they are untouchable that is why they look at every opponents with disda!n.

After losing 3-0 to Arsenal in the first leg of the UCL, one would thought Madrid will be humble enough to accept defeat and go back to their drawing board and plan strategically on how they were going to overturn that result. But no. They rather took to the Internet and boasted about their history, telling the world how they have made comebacks in Bernabèu in the past. A show of arrogance I must say.

While they were busy boasting on the Internet, Arteta and his players set their eyes on the game and chose to speak on the pitch rather than speaking on the Internet. Even the Bible says God resisted the proud and gives grace to the humble.

Real Madrid promised the world a comeback but ended up conceded more goals in the same Bernabèu they boasted so much about. They closed the Bernabèu roof but forgot to closed the goalposts. They asked God to be with them, how'd the god of football entered the Bernabèu when the roof was shut against everyone including him? With our eyes we witnessed how long 90 minutes in Bernabèu was for them, they laboured all night in vain. The very night they promised to do the unthinkable ended up becoming very humiliat!ng for them, one of the nights they will want to get past it quickly. The Bernabèu magic lost its potency.

Let this be a reminder to everyone, every reign has an end and there's no champion forever. Those who wants to hold unto the throne forever always end up getting disgrace out of the palace. No matter the height you have attained in life, please learn to STAY HUMBLE.

THE BERNABÈU MAGIC 🎩

After the shocking defeat in the hands of Arsenal, Real Madrid players flooded the Internet to remind the world of the Bernabèu history, the strange things that has happened in the past, how the team has overturned results and do a comeback when it's seemed all hope was lost.

As comforting as that may sound, history don't always repeat itself. In football, there's no guarantee for a home victory. Anyone can lose at home.

Take it from me. Nothing is stopping Raphinha from winning the Balloon d'or if Barcelona wins the Champions League this season.

As its stand, his only rival is Ousmane Dembele, he's also favourite to win the Balloon d'or if PSG wins the champions league.

Raphinha performance this season is nothing but pure magic and a joy to watch. He has equalled Lionel Messi's record for the highest goals involvement (19) for Barcelona in a single champions league campaign. A record Messi set with Barcelona in 2012, scoring 14 goals and provided 5 assist. Messi won the balloon d'or that year. Raphinha has scored 12 goals and provided 7 assist and still counting.

Barcelona is likely to advance to the semi-finals and possibly play in the final. That means Raphinha have a chance of playing 4 more UCL matches this season and can equal Cristiano Ronaldo's all time goals involvement (22) in a single UCL campaign. Ronaldo set the record of the highest goals involvement in a single UCL campaign in 2013/2014 season, scoring 17 goals and registered 5 assist. Ronaldo went on to win the balloon d'or that year.
