Fish Magnet never cared about the laughter or the mockery. All he wanted was to make his mother proud.
He graduated with first class honors, top of his class, full of dreams, full of hope. But after school, rejection became his daily bread. No one would hire him. Still, he refused to give up.
With nothing but determination and love for his family, he picked up a fishing net and began a small business, catching and selling fish to survive. But that wasn’t all. He turned his daily hustle into content, hoping to reach more people, to be seen, to be heard.
One day, he made a heartfelt video offering some of his fish to popular activist VeryDarkMan. That single act changed his life. The video went viral after Tunde Ednut reposted it, and just like that, the world met Fisher Magnet, a young man who turned hardship into purpose.
But behind that fame was still a boy trying to feed his home. And then, tragedy struck. He was abducted. His family, desperate and broken, paid the ransom. But even that wasn’t enough to bring him back. They took him anyway.
He was the light of his household, their hope, their joy. And now he’s gone.
And yet, when people like VeryDarkMan speak up about the state of this country, they are mocked, silenced, or labeled clout chasers.
Today, a voice that rarely trembles broke down in tears. Today, a nation mourns a son it failed to protect. 💔😭
