THE TROJAN WAR
According to Greek legend,a Trojan prince named Paris was asked to decide which goddess was the most beautiful: Hera, Athena, or Aphrodite.
Paris chose Aphrodite. As a reward, she gave him the stunning lady called Helen.
However, Helen was already married to Greek prince. Paris ran away with Helen. As a result. Greeks declared war on Troy, which is where the Trojan lived. The war lasted ten years, until Athena helped the Greeks to build a huge wooden horse. The Trojans took the horse into their city, without realizing that Greek soldiers were hiding inside it. That night, these soldiers came out of the horse. They opened the city gates to Troy and let the rest of the Greek army in to destroy the city of Troy.
