DECEMBER RETREAT 2024 - GRAND FINALE

MINISTER: Pastor Lazarus Muoka

TOPIC: ONLY GOD CAN DO THIS (PART 2)

TEXTS: Matthew 8:23-32, Matthew 17:14-18, Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37

We serve a God who can do all things. He is the Creator of all that exists in heaven and on earth, both visible and invisible. The Bible confirms this in Genesis 1:1, Psalm 115:16, Psalm 24:1, and Revelation 4:11.

God's power is limitless—He makes the impossible possible (Psalm 46:8-11). Regardless of what you are going through, God will fight for you and give you victory. At the end of this program, your testimony will echo the song, "Only God Can Do This."

Today marks the end of every problem in your life (Psalm 50:15). As we call upon Him, He will touch you with His mighty hand, and you will leave this program rejoicing (Exodus 14:13-14, Isaiah 41:20).

POINTS TO CONSIDER

POINT ONE: MAN'S IMAGINATION AND UNLIMITED GOD

Human wisdom and strength are limited. Man cannot accomplish the unimaginable, but God, in His infinite power, can do all things. He fights battles that man cannot. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 Ephesians 6:10-15 John 15:5; Zechariah 4:6; Philippians 4:19; Hebrews 11:28; Psalm 62:11; Matthew 19:26; Matthew 11:4-5; Matthew 12:15

POINT TWO: THE POSSIBLE SITUATION AND GOD'S INTERVENTION

No matter how hopeless a situation may seem, God has the answers. His intervention turns impossibilities into testimonies. Luke 1:37; Mark 9:23; Matthew 4:23; Matthew 8:16; Matthew 14:14; Matthew 15:30; Jeremiah 32:27; Matthew 7:7-8; John 14:13-14; Isaiah 41:20.

As we conclude this message, I declare that every problem in your life comes to an end. The finger of God will touch you, and your story will change for good. You will leave here with a new song, and I will rejoice in your testimony. Call upon Him with faith, and He will answer you (Psalm 50:15, Isaiah 41:20).

GOD IS STILL DOING WONDERS IN THE LORD'S CHOSEN

My name is Sister Kelechi, and I joined The Lord’s Chosen in 2009.

In 2013, I became pregnant with my baby boy, but I was gripped with fear due to the numerous bad dreams I kept having about my delivery.

One Saturday, during a service, the General Overseer specifically addressed my case of fear concerning childbirth and canceled it through prayer. I claimed the prayer by faith, trusting in God’s intervention.

On Monday morning, my water broke, but I experienced no labor pains. The doctor advised a C-section to save both my life and the baby’s. Determined to trust God, I sent a text message to the General Overseer explaining my situation and continued in prayer.

By Wednesday, after further examination, the hospital still recommended a C-section. Refusing to give in, I prayed fervently, rejecting every spirit of death. Suddenly, to the glory of God, the baby came out naturally—without labour, pains or any effort on my part. It was a miraculous and painless delivery!

I am here to thank the Lord for this great testimony of His faithfulness.

GOD OF CHOSEN HAS DONE IT AGAIN!

Bro. Emmanuel Chukwuemeka is full of gratitude to God for His extraordinary mercy and protection over him and his family. In 2023, while driving from Enugu to his hometown, an unexpected incident occurred. He lost consciousness, with the only thing lingering in his memory being the name of a company. His vehicle tumbled multiple times in a terrible accident.

Miraculously, when he regained consciousness, he found himself in a completely different location. People surrounded him, shouting praises to God for sparing his life. To his astonishment, he discovered he had no injuries—neither minor nor major. It was nothing short of divine intervention!

Before embarking on the journey, Bro. Emmanuel attended a service at the headquarters. During the ministration, our Daddy G.O. prophetically addressed his case, declaring mercy and safety for him. He claimed the prayers with faith, and even the pains he had been experiencing prior to the journey completely disappeared.

He testified with joy, encouraging everyone to remain steadfast in The Lord’s Chosen, a place of divine protection and miracles. He concluded by praying for his family, the church, and our beloved pastor.

THE GOD WHO GIVES FIRST CLASS IN CHOSEN

Sis. Amos Precious joined The Lord’s Chosen on October 10, 2010, and she is testifying of God’s faithfulness in her life. In 2013, she lost her father, which left her devastated. However, God comforted her with a promise concerning her academics, assuring her that He would see her through.

She completed her secondary education in 2019 and gained admission into the university the following year. At 200 level, she was offered a 70% scholarship on the condition that she achieved a first-class grade. By the grace of God, she met the requirement and obtained a first-class, but to her shock, the scholarship was denied. Deeply disappointed, she cried out to the God of Chosen.

Instead of giving up, she intensified her efforts, relying on God and studying even harder. She stayed up late reading, and through God’s grace, she graduated with an excellent first-class degree. During her project defense, a remarkable testimony unfolded—while others in her department failed, she excelled with an outstanding "A," emerging as the best in her department’s defense.

Above all, her greatest joy is that she maintained her salvation throughout her time at the university and grew even stronger in the faith. She encouraged youths to actively participate in campus fellowships, emphasizing the spiritual and academic benefits they offer.

She concluded her testimony by praying for the church, her family, and our Daddy G.O.
