Your first step inside a room determines the command you'll hold in that room.

Being able to enter a room with confidence begins long before you ever cross the door.
Getting in the right mindset before you get to an event will prepare you to put your best foot forward.
Here’s how:
1. Dress Sharp.
Clothing is the primary instrument in creating a positive first impression.
Your clothing is going to have a direct effect on people's assumptions of you — the better you're dressed, the more respect & attention you command in that room.
2. Enter With A Smile.
A smile is one of the most powerful things in the world. It can change everything.
A smile projects confidence. It projects warmth and gratitude. A smile shows that no matter what’s about to happen, we’re all in this together.
3. Straighten Your Posture As You Enter.
Similar to your attire & smile, your posture influences perceptions & first impressions.
The most common mistake men make is hunched shoulders.
Correct your posture, pull back your shoulder blades, open your chest & put your chin up.
4. Greet Everyone.
Acknowledge people who enter & exit the room.
Nod your head. Raise your hand in the person’s direction. Smile. Don't just go & sit down on a chair.
When people feel recognised, they feel important. It is a simple & impressionable act that'll earn you respect.
5. Sit In THE ZONE.
Find the table with the most value, sit at the table & not on the side. Get in the game. Don’t be a spectator.
If you think you've less value to offer than others present at the table, people will not value you. Believe you are important, & others will, too.
6. Orchestrate Your Rhythms.
Speaking is like music: When you're in a conversation with someone you have to change pace from time to time to keep your guests interested.
So, one great way to improve is by incorporating rhythmic builds into your stories or talks.
