CHANGING LIFE ONE STEP AT A TIME
Busy with results. Being single doesn’t mean you are crippled,SEE it like,you are building yourself up. Either reading self -development books or attending seminars, workshops to enhance your skill that way you have a sense of purpose to help yourself and help the society.
As a single girl living in Lagos,I have not for once folded my hands waiting for manners to fall from heaven all I know and abide by is the word of God that says ‘HE WILL BLESS THE WORKS OF MY HANDS’
Guys, I ran with the word, as the evidence is glaring right in our faces with my accomplishments. The most accomplishment so dear to my heart, how I single handedly organized Miss xpressUrself Nigeria 20214 which was covered by TVC,Vanguard”Allure” Magazine, and Shakara Magazine …I( didn’t pay a dime,simply convinced them with my actions:scouted for participants, paid for venue(EKO hotel), negotiated with a training centre ( Elephant and castle hotel Victoria island( given to me free)for the bootcamp for( pre-judging the contestants, to make them work hard to ensure they make the top 18. For three weeks training these ladies( with a team of 5 who handled different aspects of making them a renowned queen,( on etiquette, diction ,most importantly imbibing in them ‘no matter the accomplishments, humility is key’
Remember guys, I paid only for the venue, all other things were free including the judges (because they saw my vision and mission which is to have a platform for these ladies to have a voice and make a great positive impact in the society…the judges include Former beauty queen Mrs Tobi Banjoko- Oyelakin, Mrs Joy Agbbakoba and I .
God bless these two women who jumped at my request to be part of the judges.
Here is a product of it; Miss XpressUrself Nigeria 2014 Maiden edition is one of the people who’ BECAME’ Mrs Nigeria. The first queen to participate in MRS World and was among the top 16 from the 63 contestants.
I can proudly say my platform gave a voice, improved her skill, made her have a sense of purpose and now she is all over the world impacting lives positively which has given a positive ripple effect. This was possible from a single girl living in Lagos who believes that all women are created to nature and transform.
