I had a very bad day today. It was so terrible that I still find it difficult to take it off my mind since morning. It was a "morning" morning.
After dropping my kids in their school today, I parked to converse with their school head. I noticed a rush by some staff to a particular building. I moved to the place and was told the pupils' Quranic memorization trainer locked himself inside his staff apartment, which was unusual.
We knocked on the window without response, we forced the door open and met him lifeless. We rushed him to the hospital immediately, and he was pronounced dead on arrival by the doctor.
Innalillahi Wa Ina Ilaehi Rojihun.
The gate man said he led Ishai prayer last night with no sign of sickness. His body looked as if he was asleep; he looked fresh with closed eyes and soft flesh. I was told he is an Hafiz El Quran (Quranic memorizer).
Subhanallah.
His family was contacted; I left the hospital sobered. It could be me; it could be you. As we have plans for our progress, do we have a plan for death too?
Death can come anytime, anyhow, and anywhere.
May Allah bless his soul, console his family, and condole his colleagues.
This life sha... 😢😢😢
