My Sunday JPEG tells another story...

I was taking my shots jeje when two ladies came to tell me I look like ISHAYA in . Meanwhile, the two guys that sat with me during the service said the same thing after getting to know each other after the service.

So I decided to clear my doubt as the Thomas wey I be, I asked my WhatsApp community through Status and all I can see in my DM are;

Person A: Yes ooo
Person B: You guys really look alike, 🤔
Person C: I've always wanted to say this, 🙄
Parson D: Yeah! You actually do,
Person E: Truly tho,
Person F: You wish! 🤣
Person G: It was while I watched the movie I noticed u both have a similar look.😁

I don't think we are in any way look alike.

Loving yourself first is building your Self-esteem.
Self-esteem is essentially your respect for yourself. Basically, It's how much confidence you have in your abilities, worth, and individuality.

Have self-compassion and practice these steps.

Treating yourself with understanding and forgiveness- Be kind to yourself.

Acknowledge the fact that people are not perfect and,
Personal experiences are part of the larger human experience.

Be mindful of your emotional stability and get away from overidentification with painful emotions.

My simple lesson from 2022.

Some Pieces of Advice I Would Give Myself 10 Years Ago.

Embrace my uniqueness.

Focus on learning tech skills.

Utilize as many resources as possible.

My health is important.

Grades/GPAs are not everything.

Learning about other cultures.

Do what you are passionate about, not just what you are good at.

Failure is the best learning experience.

Master your mind.

To tell the story, I recently turned 28 and began to reflect on the past decade of my life.

Thinking back to the 18-year-old me, I remember being excited to graduate high school and begin my journey as a college student and bona fide adult.

Several thoughts raced through my head at the time thoughts of what the future held, of my place in the world, and the uncertainty of the unknown.

If I could talk with myself years ago, I would tell the younger me to prepare for a great 10 years of growth and excitement, but I would specifically tell him these 10 pieces of advice.

What would you have told yourself 10 years before now?
