Coca~Cola

Back in 1886, an Atlanta pharmacist named John Stith Pemberton created a unique tonic meant to relieve pain, sharpen the mind, and uplift the soul. His original formula included two surprising ingredients:
• Coca leaves (yes, once containing a small amount of co***ne, which was legal then),
• Kola nuts, packed with natural caffeine.

From these humble beginnings came the name "Coca-Cola", a tribute to its two powerful components.

Fast forward to today: Coca-Cola has evolved from a local remedy to a global symbol of refreshment, recognized in every corner of the world. It no longer contains narcotics—but its story remains a powerful example of transformation.

Let this remind you: every great journey begins with a single, sometimes unconventional, step.
The next world-changing idea could be sitting quietly in your notes, your thoughts, or your heart. Never underestimate small beginnings—they often hold the seeds of global impact.

Be bold, Think big, Start small
Your vision could be the next global phenomenon!

The Wisdom of a Teacher

A lawyer sold his well to a teacher. Two days later, the lawyer came to the teacher and said, "Sir, I sold you the well, but it's not with the water inside! If you want to use the water, you will have to pay extra."

The teacher smiled and replied, "Yes, I was about to come to you. I was going to say that you should please take your water from my well, or else you will have to start paying rent of keeping your water in my well from tomorrow because I only need the well but not the water inside.

Hearing this, the lawyer got nervous and said, "Oh, I was just joking sir!".

The teacher laughed and said, "You started your knowledge from us before becoming lawyers."

Salute to teachers!

Soichiro Honda

They told him he wasn’t good enough.
His first design was dismissed, his vision ignored.
No room for mistakes. No second chances.

But Soichiro Honda didn’t break, he rebuilt.

He sold his wife’s jewelry.
Rebuilt the design. Restarted the dream.
Then life hit harder: war, destruction, natural disaster.

Yet, even from the rubble, he kept creating.
Not for glory, but to give his country something it desperately needed: mobility and hope.

He didn’t just build machines.
He built proof that rejection is not the end of the story, unless you let it be.

What Toyota tossed aside became the heart of a global powerhouse.
Honda wasn’t an accident. It was a response.
A response to failure. To mockery. To every door that slammed shut.

And in that response lies a lesson for us all:
You don’t need approval to begin.
You just need courage to continue.

Soichiro Honda was a Japanese engineer, industrialist, and founder of the Honda Motor Company, one of the most successful and innovative automobile and motorcycle manufacturers in the world.

A 'TEACHER' teaching Maths to a six-year-old asked him, “If I give you one apple and one apple & one apple, how many apples will you have?”

With a few seconds the boy replied confidently, “Four!”

The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer (three).

She was disappointed. “May be the child did not listen properly,” she thought.

She repeated, “pls listen carefully.

It is very simple. You will be able to do it right if you listen carefully.

If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

The boy had seen the disappointment on his teacher’s face.

He calculated again on his fingers.

But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make his teacher happy.

This time hesitatingly he replied, “Four...”

The disappointment stayed on teacher’s face.

She remembered that the boy loves strawberries.

She thought maybe he doesn’t like apples and that is making him lose focus.

This time with exaggerated excitement & twinkling eyes she asked ...

“If I give you one strawberry & one strawberry & one strawberry, then how many will you have?”

Seeing the teacher happy, the 'YOUNG' boy calculated on his fingers again.

There was no pressure on him, but a little on the teacher.

She wanted her new approach to succeed.

With a hesitating smile, the young boy replied, “Three?”

The teacher now had a victorious smile. Her approach had succeeded.

She wanted to congratulate herself.

But one last thing remained.

Once again she asked him, “Now if I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple how many will you have?”

Promptly the answer was “Four!”

The teacher was aghast.

“How.... tell me, How?” she demanded in a little stern and irritated voice.

In a voice that was low and hesitating young boy replied, “Because I already have one apple in my bag.”

Moral of the Story

Lessons to Learn: When someone gives you an answer that is different from what you are expecting, it is not necessarily they are wrong.

There may be an angle that we may not have understood at all.

We need to learn to appreciate and understand different perspectives.

Quite often, we try and impose our perspectives on others and then wonder what went wrong.

The next time someone gives you a different perspective than yours, sit down and gently ask
"can you please help me understand"?
