You will never know shame is a virtue until someone embarrasses you all in the name of "I don't have shame." I woke up one morning to see a DM from a long-time secondary school classmate.

According to her, she came across one of my stories when a friend shared it on her WhatsApp status and decided to reach out. I was excited to connect with her because she was the girl that everyone loved due to her quiet, calm, and reserved nature. We talked about life and what we've been up to. We exchanged contacts and began talking regularly on WhatsApp. That was when I realized that she was a makeup artist. Going through her IG page, I could tell she is really good at her job. A few days back, I saw a status update of hers that read, "What my eyes have seen as a makeup artist, I can not tell it all 😔." Thinking it was one of those clients who think that makeup products are paid for with leaves, I replied, "They done price you rubbish again🤣?" She replied, "I wish, if it was just the price, I wouldn't be complaining because it's a normal thing." She then went ahead to gist me about the last job she went for.

A lady booked her for her child's dedication, and the deal was that she would spend the whole day with her. It would be a different makeup for the church service and another one for the after-party. They agreed on a price, and on the morning of the dedication, my friend arrived just in time for the makeup.
As early as 6 am, she was already at the lady's house setting up because she was told that the dedication would be at 9 am after her church's first service. It was getting close to 8 am, and the lady had yet to sit for her makeup. My friend asked her to sit because she didn't want to rush the makeup, and that was when the lady informed her that the dedication wasn't at 9 am, but at 12 pm. She told her 9 am to make her come early and avoid stories that touch.

My friend was pi**ed but still kept her cool. She tried explaining to her that what she did wasn't cool as she had a busy day the previous day. She couldn’t have a good sleep because she didn't want to disappoint her, and so left her house early to meet up. The lady told her it didn't matter, after all, she booked her for the whole day and is entitled to her time.
Hearing this, my friend was even more pi**ed, but the lady's mom tried calming her down. By 10 :30, the makeup started, and before 12 pm, she was done. In between the makeup, the lady kept complaining. The final straw was when they got to church, and they told her she needed to cover her chest region if she wanted the baby to be dedicated because almost her full chest was exposed. She got upset and in the quest to get something to cover up while fighting her husband who tried to intervene, part of the makeup got smudged.
It was as if hell was let loose. She cursed my friend out, accusing her of using fake products on her face, and even threatened not to pay her balance. Friends tried calming her down and making her realize that they were in public and should have some shame. Aunty quickly replied, "Shame ke, I don't have shame, this girl wants to use me, but it won't work. In fact, she should refund me my money."

My friend felt like the ground should open and swallow her because the embarrassment was something else. The area that was affected wasn't much. It was something that she could easily touch up. Still ignoring her attitude, she tried getting her to sit so that she could quickly fix it. That was when the lady angrily pushed her, breaking her ring light. My friend couldn't take it anymore. She insisted on her tool being replaced immediately or nothing else. Luckily for her, the lady's husband made a transfer, and she left without fixing the makeup.

Ella and I were friends in secondary school. We got admissionion into the same University far from home.
In our 3rd year, the president of our local government association in school called me and asked me to contest for the position of vice president of the association as the incumbent is going out. I refused the offer because I am naturally a shy person. I spoke to my friend Ella about it and she saw reasons with me. Few days later, the president called to say Ella has indicated interest in the position but he still prefers me.
Note, Ella did not tell me she was going to contest. I still told the president my position (No). He said he has already bought the form for me and dropped the phone. Ella started underground campaign without telling me. I saw her poster one day somewhere and asked her, she said I should not mind our outgoing president, he is forcing her into the race.
I told her it's not a bad thing if she is interested, I promised to help her campaign as we already have someone in the race. In her words.. ''babe I am not interested , I don't have that time''
I did not print any poster but told people in the association my intention to run for the VP. I also posted my picture and intentions on the association WhatsApp group
On the election day, I won Ella and our friendship never remained the same.
She stopped attending our association meeting till we graduated. Fast forward to four years later, her elder brother proposed to my younger sister and Ella vowed her brother will never marry my sister.
She called my family traitors and all sorts of names. Her mum is supporting her. My sister is torn and needs my guidance. Please I am seeking your advice on how to navigate this situation.

I got married in 2019 and I have been trying to conceive, it has been a tough journey for me, in January 2023 my husband and I suggested I go for one surgery which I went for and after that he suggested we needed a house help. We decided to tell my mother Inlaw so she could help us look for one of those girls in the village, my mother Inlaw brought a 17 year old girl, the first day she was brought in I never liked her because she looked like someone who was bought already. My problem started as soon as she stepped in, since she came my husband stopped all out of town work but he goes and makes sure he returns same day unlike him, previously my husband doesn’t come home in a month, I asked him how come he no longer travels for work. He said there is a change in the work plan, my husband started shopping for both me and my house help, my problem is not the clothes he buys for her but the inner wears, I started complaining bitterly and let him know that she is old enough to get her inner wears herself. I started suspecting my husband had already started sleeping with her, she came back from school one day and I asked her if my husband has ever touched her she said ‘no’ that she has never been touched by any man and that I can call a doctor to confirm. That statement made me unsettled, then what’s going on, I told my husband that I want the girl back from where she came from and my husband said he would never allow that and if I am not comfortable with her I can leave his house, I asked him how he could say that. giver her the best and make sure you don’t tell your wife about it otherwise she would cause harm to her, you can as well end the marriage and focus on your child, I have been in darkness thinking I was happily married, why did my husband hide this from me?This is too much for me to bear, my marriage is about to crumble, what should I do? Two days later I went through my husband’s phone and I saw a text from his mum which says make sure your childless wife don’t chase your only child away she’s unable to give you a child, don’t let her ruin the chances bonding with your daughter
